Yosemite

Image
Yosemite , a radiant Pomeranian, asks for a peaceful home where he will never be hurt again. He is 5 years of age, neutered, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Yosemite was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his past abuse. He is terrified of someone picking him up or reaching for his face. If a very gentle person is patient with him, he will warm and let himself be brushed. Then, when trust develops, he likes rubbing his ears and face on that person's ankles, so happy he knows they are being kind and accepting. Since Yosemite can be nippy when fearful, an experienced, adult-only home is needed please.

Keane

Image
Keane , 12, politely pleads for love and reassurance. His name is inspired by "Big Eyes" painter Margaret Keane. Keane is a precious, gentle Pomeranian, neutered boy, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help. We provided Keane with dental care and shaved away most of his matted, neglected coat.    He is now eating premium food, bonding with people and dogs, and enjoying short walks.    Please share Keane's picture to help find him a hero.

Giorgio

Giorgio's right eye was terribly maimed by a firework. At the time of rescue he was in so much pain he didn't want us to touch him. We rushed him to an advanced care veterinary hospital and his eye had to be removed. Giorgio is a petite, 6-pound Pomeranian, 5 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He is good with other dogs and likes being held in gentle arms. Giorgio is gradually adjusting to life with one eye. He can get fussy if your hand comes near his face, but then gives you a doggie kiss because he doesn't intend any harm.

Bowie

Bowie , a 5-pound angel, wants to know if you will accept his unconditional love.  He is a Pomeranian with a blue eye and a hazel eye, 10 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Bowie needed us due to the declining health of his previous owner.  He doesn't like his face being touched, so a calm home without young children is ideal.  Because of his tiny size, please take very thorough safety precautions for him throughout your home and yard.
