Emma & Roscoe

Emma & Roscoe , 13 and 10 years of age, are peppy in spirit and so happy to always be together.  They needed us when one of their previous owners passed away.  They are Dachshunds and soul-mates, a spayed girl and neutered boy, good with other dogs, crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Wonderful update on Charger and Gingersnap!

Thank you to Ana & Tyler, the parents of these two rescued dogs, for these terrific pictures and wonderful update: "We adopted /rescued Charlie (previously known as Charger in 2013) and Lucy (previously known as Gingersnap in 2014.)" "We are so greatfull that we found these 2 sweet babies at your shelter. They are the happiest and sweetest babies ever now. We are now one big Happy family. They definitely rescued us. I hope and wish that more people will do the same. But wanted to tell you all, Thank You!!!"

Spanky & Tamara

Spanky & Tamara , 12 & 6 years of age, Dachshund soul-mates, ask for a hero who will cherish them and always keep them together. Both are housetrained & crate-trained and good with other dogs.    Spanky is a neutered boy and Tamara is a spayed girl. They are ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They were surrendered in neglected condition earlier this spring. We had dental care provided for Spanky and had a small chest growth removed from Tamara . Both recovered well from their operations.

Spanky & Tamrin reunited!

Image
Spanky & Tamrin are now reunited soul-mates, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Spanky , a gentle 10-year-old Dachshund, from another shelter. Three days later the shelter called and said that young Tamrin , a 4-year-old Dachshund, had been crying for him for 3 straight days and stopped eating. We were shocked to learn that Spanky even had a partner and immediately agreed to rescue Tamrin so they could be reunited. We later learned that the pair had been confiscated from a home, suggesting they endured a terrible past and forged an especially strong bond by relying on each other for emotional support. Spanky & Tamrin are together forever and we ask for your help in finding them a wonderful, stable, loving forever home.
