Millicent

Image
Millicent , 12, a severe neglect and malnutrition survivor, arrived yesterday from another shelter that asked for our help.    She may have given up hope years ago, but her eyes widened when we introduced her to other dogs for companionship and when we held and reassured her. Millicent is a Maltese, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Please help find her a hero and she will realize that it's definitely not too late for a fresh start and the ability to know what being cherished feels like.

Lilac

Lilac , 8, an extreme neglect survivor, desperately wants to know what being loved feels like. Lilac is a super sweet and humble Shih-Tzu, 8 years of age, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Due to malnutrition, she has hair loss on her face, ears, and most of her body. Please continue feeding her premium, nutritious meals and treats. Lilac is gaining energy, standing taller with her head up, and her spark for life is building.  With continued improvement with her skin and hair, we believe she will be almost unrecognizable in 6 months.  We cannot wait to see her progress, both physically and emotionally. We rescued this sweetheart from another shelter.

Sir Hugs A Lot

Sir Hugs A Lot grabs your hands with his paws and holds tight, pleading for kindness.  He is recovering well from severe neglect and malnutrition, the latter contributing to 25 of his teeth that had to be extracted.  Sir Hugs A Lot is a Toy Poodle, 7 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help.  Please share his picture to help him find someone who will cherish him dearly.

I'm not perfect, but my love is.

Please help us find a hero for Baby . He is a small, but very overweight Sheltie (Shetland Sheepdog), about 10 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued this angel from another shelter. Baby appears to have been eating "table scraps" (left-over human food) for years, resulting in obesity and large patches of hair loss (from malnutrition).  We have had extensive testing done on Baby at a veterinary hospital and he is free of thyroid problems. He is making some improvements on a proper canine diet of premium food and we are hoping for and expecting more good changes for his health and body as a result. Baby gets along well with other dogs and he is exceptionally sweet and humble with people.
