Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Yanni , 10, a soulful Terri-Poo, is recovering from extreme neglect and wondering who will accept his unconditional devotion and gratitude. Yanni is not used to much touching. He is very confused if you try to pick him up. We suspect he went for years with almost no physical contact in a dreadful, loveless home. Yanni is good with other dogs and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We had dental care provided for him (including 22 teeth extractions) and saved as much of his coat as we could when he was groomed.

At the time we rescued Lady from another shelter, her previous owner had neglected her so severely she could not see through the tangles and filth in front of her eyes.  Hair of the Dog spa groomed her and revealed her expressive eyes.  Lady's "after" picture is so powerful because you can see her full of hope.  Lady is a Poodle & Shih-Tzu mix, 9 years of age, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Harmony was abandoned on a busy street in front of a large charitable organization in Vegas that focuses on helping people in financial distress.  She was in filthy, poor condition, with dental problems, and no sign of responsible ownership.  Harmony is a tiny, super sweet Toy & Chihuahua mix, 10 years of age.  She is now cleaned, groomed, eating premium food, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We had dental care provided for her, including numerous extractions.  Harmony likes other calm dogs and a gentle home where she will be cherished for her twilight years is ideal.

Prince Bob has the majestic appearance of a bobcat and we believe he is a Pixie-Bob mix -- a breed some believe to have bobcat mixing.  However, his temperament is remarkably gentle and humble.  Prince Bob sits patiently, watching you carefully, and then becomes so happy when you come over to pet him and talk to him sweetly.  He is about 5 years of age, a neutered boy, good with other cats, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Prince Bob had been abandoned at a veterinary hospital with extreme neglect.  We shaved away his matted coat to give him a fresh start, and he is enjoying premium cat food and gaining weight.

Sheila has every reason in the world to feel good about herself and her triumphant recovery.  She is an adorable Chinese Crested Powder Puff mix, 10 years of age, a spayed & petite lady, good with other dogs, now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Sheila was at another shelter.  Her challenges included terrible matting, malnutrition, and dental needs.  After many weeks making a strong recovery, Sheila's needs have all been addressed and her spirit is soaring!  She loves being pampered and fussed over, reveling in loving care and attention.
