Chuck , 10, is most at ease when snuggling on your shoulder.    His previous owner passed away and he wants tons of hugs and reassurance. Chuck is a steel-grey shorthair loverboy, compatible with cats and dogs, neutered, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Amulet , a dear little treasure, warms to people who speak softly and reassuringly to her.  She is a beautiful spirit, a gentle Agouti bunny, 2 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in the Lovebugs Room.  Amulet was discovered left behind in a vacated apartment.

Candi is a charming girl with the brightest of smiles. She is a Chihuahua, 4 years of age and spayed, great with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Candi was at another shelter that asked for our help. She had reportedly witnessed domestic violence in her previous home. Candi fears men and can get anxious if someone is loud or yelling.    She is accepting the male staff and volunteers who speak to her gently and reassuringly.    A peaceful home environment is ideal for Candi .

Simba's desperation for kindness is easily seen in his eyes. He is safe now and beginning to understand this, and he's especially drawn to people who talk to him reassuringly with soft voices. Simba is an earnest boy, an attractive blend of Italian Greyhound & Parson Russell Terrier, 7 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA. Duke of Earl , 12, feels at peace with your touch or voice.  Sitting in or beside your lap is reassuring to him. If he cannot hear or feel you, he may cry out softly to find you. Duke of Earl is blind, gentle, and compatible with calm cats and dogs.  He was found outdoors, alone, in peril.  He is neutered and ready for a hero, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Duke of Earl needs insulin shots every 12 hours to regulate his diabetes.

Candy , a precious baby girl, climbs as close as she can to you for hugs and cuddles.    Soothing reassurance means the world to her and she loves to hear you tell her that she is safe. Candy is a Chihuahua puppy with hazel eyes, 6 months of age and spayed, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.    She was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Cody worries he is displeasing and unwanted. But when you reassure him that he is wonderful and a good boy, he breaks out a warm smile and his eyes sparkle. Cody is a young Yellow Labrador Retriever debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is housetrained and good with other dogs.    Cody was at another shelter that asked for our help because of the abuse he experienced in a previous home.    We believe gentle voices and a very steady lifestyle routine will help him continue improving and reaching his full potential.
