Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Snow White , just 8 months of age, is getting ready to bloom and beginning to build some confidence. She is still exceptionally timid and leashes terrify her. We suspect she was in a loveless home with scant care and attention. Snow White is a White Shepherd mix junior puppy, spayed girl, debuting for a hero adoption today at Nevada SPCA . We believe she will adjust best in a home with a big sister or brother dog who can give her guidance. Snow White was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity. Tourmaline , a baby gem, warms more to people with each new day.  She is letting us cuddle her and she is becoming light-hearted and playing with her toys.  Tourmaline is a petite kitten, 3 months of age and spayed, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .  She was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her fear and hissing.  Tourmaline was desperate for security and began making progress when we placed stuffed animals for her to snuggle with in her habitat.  In an experienced home her progress can continue so she can reach her full loving potential.

Bay, just 8 months of age, worries that people don't like her.  We are working on helping her build self-esteem so she will understand she is worthy of love.  Bay is a junior puppy, medium-size Heinz 57 with Beagle & Mini Bully, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Bay from another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.

Cody worries he is displeasing and unwanted. But when you reassure him that he is wonderful and a good boy, he breaks out a warm smile and his eyes sparkle. Cody is a young Yellow Labrador Retriever debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is housetrained and good with other dogs.    Cody was at another shelter that asked for our help because of the abuse he experienced in a previous home.    We believe gentle voices and a very steady lifestyle routine will help him continue improving and reaching his full potential.

Zelda is responding very well to kindness and realizing that we intend her no harm.  She is bonding beautifully with staff and volunteers, and she's now ready to debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Zelda is a Rottweiler, 4 years of age and spayed, approximately 95 pounds.  Rottweiler knowledge is needed for her adoption. She was at another shelter that asked for our help because she became alarmed when people touched her mouth to check her teeth.  We are now able to pet and touch Zelda without fear, nevertheless, an experienced and adult-only home is required so she can continue safely reaching her full loving potential.

Skyler was terrified and exceptionally reserved at the time of rescue.  But thanks to patience and kindness from volunteers and staff during the past several weeks, he is gaining self-esteem and blooming.  Skyler is a delightful young Toy & Chihuahua mix, 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is great with other dogs and sports the cutest smiles.  A gentle, stable home will help Skyler continue making progress toward reaching his full loving potential.
