Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Hailey is a radiant young girl who loves giving doggie kisses!  She is a beautiful Siberian Husky, 1 year young and spayed, housetrained, compatible with some large dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Hailey is exceptionally intelligent and can escape from standard crates and pens, so an especially secure home and yard is vital for her safety.  She was surrendered by her previous owner due to her puppy-like behaviors and high-energy level in an apartment home.

Skye is a radiant, glowing young girl overflowing with kindness.  She loves sharing her smiles.  Skye is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, 3 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  She needed us because her previous family's new baby was allergic to her.

Twyla is a radiant girl who loves bonding with kids and adults.  She is a Mini Bully with the cutest ears, 6 years of age, spayed, housetrained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Twyla is terrific with people, but needs a household without other animals.

Emile , a jubilant and radiant junior puppy, offers you a lifetime of smiles and unconditional devotion in exchange for a stable, loving forever home.  Emile is an Akita mix (curly-Q tail, body type), 9 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  She was found abandoned in a park with no sign of responsible ownership.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.

You may recall Tenderheart's rescue in May. She was found starving to death in an abandoned crate (likely trapped there for days) and emergency hospitalization, including intravenous fluids, saved her life. Tenderheart has been building body mass and energy ever since. Once so weak she couldn't walk, she now leaps and bounces in joy.     Tenderheart glows with radiance and likes sneaking doggie kisses on her caretakers. She is a small German Shepherd (starvation likely stunted her growth), 11 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Tenderheart can be around other dogs, but must be completely separated from other dogs in the presence of meals and treats. (Because of fearing desperate hunger, food is very serious to her and she won't tolerate the thought of having her food stolen.) Akira , 11, radiant and young at heart, politely asks for a responsible, loving forever home. She is a warm-hearted Siberian Husky, spayed, housetrained, good with kids and large dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Akira enjoys squeaky toys and sleeping next to your bed.    She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Felicia , a radiant young sweetheart, is 1 of the 35 rescued Blond Angels and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She may continue adjusting best in a home with a sister or brother dog for guidance.    Felicia is a White Shepherd mix, 2 years of age and now spayed. Her siblings, cousins, and the other Blond Angels become ready for adoption based on their emotional development and progress.    The 35 were saved from a home where the previous owners were convicted of animal cruelty. Aquilone ("kite"), a radiant young German Shepherd, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Her name is inspired by the beautiful diamond-shape color-mark on her forehead.  Aquilone is 2 years of age, spayed, and good with other large and friendly dogs.  We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.  German Shepherd knowledge is needed for her adoption. Aquilone is ready to bloom and soar in a responsible, loving, peaceful home.

Annabella , 11, a treasure! -- radiant girl who glows when you talk kindly to her.    She wholeheartedly adores people and she gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids, plus she's housetrained too. Annabella is a plump blend of Yellow Labrador Retriever and Shar Pei, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She was surrendered to us this morning because her previous owner's girlfriend doesn't like her.    Annabella deserves better and we hope you come meet this charismatic girl today.

Coeur D'Or ("Golden Heart"), a radiant girl with unconditional devotion, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is an Australian Shepherd & Golden Retriever mix, 4 years of age, spayed, and compatible with most dogs.  Coeur D'Or has birth defects which affect the shape of her nose and mouth and the condition of her tooth enamel. She is one of 18 animals we rescued from another shelter on Christmas Eve.

Shay , a radiant junior puppy, is eager to join a loving, forever family on this #GivingTuesday . She debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Clara's new Pet'ographique portraits capture her remarkable radiance!  She is 10 years of age, but young at heart like a puppy, eager and grateful for each new day.  Clara is a Miniature Pinscher, spayed, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. One of her favorite things is to burrow under blankets for her naps.  Please visit and ask for Clara by name.

Queenie is a brilliant, radiant Catahoula Leopard Dog mix ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is terrific with kids of all ages, housetrained, and good with other dogs.  Queenie is about 6 years of age and spayed, homeless due to the financial hardship of her previous owner.  Queenie's big challenge is reportedly her Houdini-like capabilities.  Indoors, she is reportedly calm and content.  Outdoors though, she is reportedly so determined that she can sneak out of any yard by whatever means necessary.  For Queenie's safety, we are seeking a home for her where she will never be left unattended in the backyard.
