Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Terrance is a junior puppy so affectionate he cannot restrain expressing his adoration for kind people.    He goes into "kissing fits" and smothers your neck and cheeks with his puppy licks. Terrance is a blue-grey & white Bully mix, 8 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    He enjoys children and gets along fine with some dogs.    Terrance needed us when his previous owner moved into an apartment with a weight limit for pets.

Camaro Cammie Camaro and Cammie , brother and sister, enjoy sneaking puppy kisses on the chins of people who praise them.  They are reportedly Shepherd & Spaniel mixes (expected to grow to medium size), 4 months of age, spayed/neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  They were surrendered by their previous owner due to family hardship.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety.

Elizabeth , saved from peril, now feels so good she can't stop kissing people and playing with her toys! This darling baby girl needs a foster home please for approximately 2 weeks (until she can be spayed). If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lani. Elizabeth was in danger of succumbing to the parvo virus at the time of rescue. She was surrendered to us and we rushed her into emergency treatment at a veterinary hospital. Thanks to extensive care made possible by generous donations, she made a beautiful recovery. ( Elizabeth cannot be around dogs who are not up-to-date on vaccines.) Elizabeth is believed to be a Siberian Husky and Retriever mix, 3 months of age.

Paris Dominique Two more of Betsy's babies -- Dominique and Paris -- are ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Paris likes to hold faces in her paws so she can give her puppy kisses easier. Dominique loves playing fetch and splashing around in wading pools. The sisters are 3 months of age, spayed, and very well socialized in a wonderful foster home.    Betsy, their mother, already adopted, is a Queensland Heeler mix. (Betsy and her newborns were rescued from another shelter earlier this year.) The father of the puppies is unknown.   Betsy, their mother  

Brook , a baby girl who survived horrific cruelty, gratefully kisses everyone who is kind to her.  She is a Chihuahua puppy with rich chocolate coloring, 7 months of age, good with other sweet dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  At the time of rescue a man spotted a sealed garbage bag on a busy street near The Strip with something moving inside it. He approached and ripped the bag open for her escape.  Please help find Brook a home where she will only know the best of human nature and compassion.

Song loves "singing" to you and showering your cheeks with his puppy kisses.  He is an adorable Toy & Chihuahua mix, almost 4 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Song was found in an abandoned apartment.  Since his rescue he has been raised and socialized in a wonderful foster home with cats and dogs.

Monty leaps into your arms for cuddling and puppy kisses!  He sees every waking moment as a grand opportunity for joy and affection.  Monty is a Labrador Retriever mix puppy, 5 months of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption this morning at Nevada SPCA .  He was at another shelter that ran out of space and asked for our help.

Malibu pines for comfort and reassurance.    When you hold him close he stops crying, leans his head on your shoulder, and sneaks some puppy kisses on your chin. Malibu is a remarkably cute Chi-Weenie puppy, 3 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    He was surrendered by his previous owners because he was too energetic for their senior dogs.    Please puppy-proof your home and yard for Malibu's safety.

Calista , a radiant junior puppy, craves attention and gives kisses to the people who shower her with praise. She is an adorable Yorkshire Terrier, 11 months of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Calista was surrendered by her previous family for nipping/snapping/biting. We have not witnessed this behavior from her, but to err on the safe side for dog bite prevention, an experienced home is required for her please.

Pugsley loves to hug and kiss.  He relishes being in gentle arms and hearing words of reassurance and praise.  Pugsley is an adorable "Chug" puppy (Chihuahua & Pug), 3 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  His previous owners cited "newborn baby" as the reason for surrendering him.

Thalia is a playful baby girl who proudly sneaks puppy kisses all over your face.  She adores people and thanks them for kindness with licks on cheeks and chins.  Thalia is a hazel-eyed puppy, 5 months of age, a Heinz 57 with Shepherd, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  She needed us due to her previous owners' hardship.

Majestic , rescued and healed, glows with joy and hope for his future!    He is a Bully puppy, good with other dogs, 6 months of age, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . A volunteer found Majestic in October. He had been abandoned in a crate and he was suffering from parvo virus. We rushed Majestic to an animal emergency hospital for extensive care and his life was saved. Like the other puppy posted today (Joshua), Majestic overflows with gratitude for the kindness of everyone he meets. Please only consider him if you like puppy kisses!

Joshua , now well, feels ready to conquer the world and he thanks every person and dog he meets with kisses! Joshua is a junior puppy who looks like a teddy bear. He is a Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, 9 months of age, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . At the time of rescue Joshua's life was threatened by the parvo virus and his previous owners surrendered him. We rushed him into emergency care at an animal hospital and saved his life.    Thank you very much to all who donate for advanced veterinary care to help Joshua and other rescued animals with advanced challenges.

Reggie , a gentle baby boy, enjoys napping on your shoulder, playing with cats and dogs, and giving people puppy kisses.  He is a remarkably cute Bully mix puppy, 3 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  We rescued puppy from another when he was just weeks old and motherless at another shelter.  Reggie's foster family bottle fed him and nurtured and socialized him with tender care.

Zia's personality joyfully springs to life when she sees children. She loves covering their faces with her puppy kisses. Zia is a Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund) baby girl, 6 months of age, crate-trained, good with dogs, and now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Zia thrives with order, routine, and stability. Adults make her a bit nervous, but she is drawn to gentle people.    Zia needed us when her previous owner became homeless.

Humphries , a baby boy desperate for love, gives you puppy kisses when you tell him he's adorable. He is a puppy who looks like a baby seal, a Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher mix, 4 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Apple is a baby girl who looks tenderly in your eyes. Once she realizes you approve of her, she gives you a puppy kiss.  Apple is a cream & white Chihuahua & Corgi mix, 6 months of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.

Chrissy and her newborns in August Molly May is the first of Chrissy's babies to be ready for adoption. She is an adorable puppy with magical green eyes and she loves playing fetch, bonding with people and dogs, and giving puppy kisses. Chrissy is a Queensland Heeler mix and Molly May's father is unknown. We expect her to grow to medium size, like her mother. Molly May is 3 months of age and spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Molly May's foster mom said she is already housetrained and crate-trained, plus she knows how to use a doggie door. You may remember Chrissy and her babies from their rescue this summer from another shelter. Molly May's siblings will be spayed/neutered and ready for adoption too in the days to come.   Note: Chrissy was spayed and adopted last week.

Chief hugs your arm when you hold him and gives puppy kisses when you praise him. He is an exceptionally affectionate German Shepherd puppy, 5 months of age, good with other dogs, and awaiting a foster hero at Nevada SPCA. Chief was found abandoned in a park, unable to walk, with no sign of responsible ownership. His back legs have fused joints (birth defect) and do not bend. Chief can stand on his back legs for short amounts of time, if you help him up, but at this time he is unable to maneuver to a standing position on his back legs without assistance. Chief's veterinary specialist believes there is hope with a variety of possible solutions. Choosing which one will depend on how he manages in a foster home and if his walking improves or if needs a lifestyle affixed to wheels. Brittany wants you to like her puppy kisses. The more you laugh and try to turn your head away, the quicker she enthusiastically licks your nose and cheeks. Brittany is an affectionate baby girl, a blend of Manchester Terrier and other breeds (expected to grow to medium size), now 3 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Since her rescue ("unwanted" by previous owner) she has been lovingly raised and socialized with cats and dogs in a wonderful foster home.
