Maddy , an affectionate young girl with bobcat-like good looks, needed us when her previous owner passed away.  She is a silver tabby (shaved medium-hair), 2 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Maddy likes lounging in your lap while you slowly brush her and talk sweet.

Prima Donna , 10, a regal girl with a down-to-earth personality, enjoys snuggling with you on the couch.  She needed us when her previous owner passed away and she longs for reassurance.  Prima Donna is a tortoiseshell shorthair with intriguing eyes and she is good with other cats, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Shasta , a jubilant junior puppy, loves being the center of attention!  She is housetrained, good with other dogs, a Heinz 57 with Retriever, 9 months of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Shasta needed us when her previous owner died.  We believe she has the temperament to be terrific with kids.

Ellie and her five babies needed help when their previous owner passed away. We placed them in a wonderful foster home and Ellie nurtured her kittens with enormous devotion. (Her babies will be spayed/neutered and ready for adoption later this month.) Ellie is a social girl with those she trusts and yearns for plenty of quality time and kindness with you daily.    She is a petite Russian Blue mix with golden eyes, 2 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Hannah & Sadie , sisters, became homeless when their previous owner passed away.  These tender-hearted girls have an exceptionally strong bond and they need to be together forever.  The girls are Chi-Weenies (Chihuahua & Dachshund), 4 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  They are bashful and best-suited for a peaceful home environment.

Chevy , 12, is coming out of depression (from his previous owner's death) and blooming with good cheers.  He likes giving doggie kisses when you tell him he's a sweetheart.  Chevy is a blend of Poodle and Toy, a neutered boy, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Bodhi Nadia Nadia & Bodhi , mother and son, needed us when their previous owner passed away.  They are cheerful, friendly, and well-behaved German Shepherds, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Both are housetrained, crate-trained, and good with mature kids. Nadia is reportedly 9 years of age and Bodhi is 4 years of age.  Please share their pictures to help them find a wonderful forever home.

Happy & Lovable , brother and sister, joyfully reunited, love giving doggie kisses to people and each other.  They are Jack Russell Terriers, 5 years of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Happy & Lovable were at another shelter, after their previous owner passed away, which asked for our help so they could stay together forever.

Camille is a gorgeous lady with a polite manner.  She liked cuddling at night with cats and dogs in her pet bed.  Camille needed us when her previous owner passed away.  She is a medium-hair tortoiseshell, 6 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Presley's previous owner passed away and she had no one left to love or care for her.  She is a polite, devoted, gorgeous girl with tortoiseshell coloration (and freckles), 7 years of age and spayed, fine with other cats, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Presley is youthful in spirit and pounces on her toys like she's a kitten.

Rhys , 9, needed us when his owner passed away. His broken heart is slowly mending with canine companionship and reassuring attention from volunteers and staff.    Rhys is a tiny, plump Chihuahua, neutered, good with dogs, pad trained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Rhys reportedly endured horrors in a laboratory prior to his rescue by his previous owner. We don't have any concrete details, but Rhys was exploited for experimentation of some kind. This is believed to be the reason for his extreme fear of being picked up, which causes him to scream and pant and panic. Rhys needs someone committed to understanding him and being patient with his emotional needs.    Please help find him a gentle hero.

  June's broken heart has been steadily mending, thanks to companionship with other cats, volunteers, and her caretakers. Her previous owner passed away and she does not understand what happened. June is a large, 24-pound sweetheart with captivating eyes, 8 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    She likes napping under blankets, climbing cat towers, and snuggling with people and cats.

Mindy makes a bit more progress each day recovering from a broken heart and adjusting to life with one eye. She is an endearing girl, a Chihuahua, 4 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Mindy needed us when her previous owner passed away. Her left eye was ulcerated and could not be saved (from unknown trauma).

You can see the confusion in Corky's eyes. His previous owner passed away and he does not understand what has happened.    Still, this polite boy trusts his caretakers and accepts kindness and reassurances. He loves walks and playing with his toys.
