Cowboy still acts like a young puppy, playing chase and studying his toys and finding merriment everywhere.  He is a golden-eyed boy with a chocolate tuxedo, a Heinz 57 with Kelpie & Whippet, 3 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Cowboy's previous owner died and he then went to another shelter that ran out of space and asked for our help.  When a woman is holding his leash he does not want unknown men to approach her, but has no concerns about women approaching a man he is with.  Please visit and ask for Cowboy by name.

Lovely is a brokenhearted little pixie who sometimes cries when you praise her.    Her previous owner died and she feels so lost. Lovely is a dainty Longhair Chihuahua & Papillon mix, 7 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other sweet dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Antonio's previous owner died (his human mom) and he suddenly became intolerant of men. We do not know the circumstances of what occurred, but we have observed his fear of men.  Antonio is a Beagle with enormous loving potential in a stable, gentle home. He is 8 years of age, neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Please share his pictures to help him find a hero.  We look forward to the day when Antonio no longer fears strangers and understands that no one is going to hurt him.

Ruby Rose , a baby girl who survived being run over by a car, needs a foster home for several more weeks while she continues to heal.  If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lani. When Ruby Rose's owner died, the landlord reportedly put all of her belongings, plus an adult cat named Heather, and Heather's four kittens (including Ruby Rose ), in the front yard.  Neighbors witnessed Ruby Rose getting run over, crushing her pelvis, and rushed her and her mom and siblings to us.  [Heather has been adopted already and Ruby Rose's siblings will be ready for adoption soon.]
