Zsa Zsa

Image
Zsa Zsa is a beautiful soul and she would love to join a forever home where she is always treasured.  She is a Lop bunny, 4 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Zsa Zsa is quite strong-willed and if we are late with her daily 3pm salads of fresh leafy greens she will begin thumping her hind feet in protest.  She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Before & After -- Victoria

Image
Victoria, May 18 Victoria, June 6 Victoria is a precious young Maltese with a gentle soul and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We decided to share one of her "before" pictures, after being found on the streets, in order to better tell her story. However, her condition was much more grave beyond just horrific neglect, with a massive wound on her left side (which is too graphic to post), from an unknown cause (suspected dog or coyote attack). Victoria has healed well, bonded with other sweet dogs here, and snuggled with staff and volunteers. Physically and emotionally, she is making a terrific recovery. She is 2 years of age, now spayed, and asking for a peaceful owner where she will always know she's cherished.

Chestnut

Image
Chestnut loves hugging! She is grateful to everyone who is kind to her and just wants to be loved. Chestnut was found on the streets, in estrus ("in heat"), with no sign of responsible ownership.    The person who captured her briefly housed her and determined she is housetrained, crate-trained, and good with kids and some dogs.    Chestnut is a beautiful young Heinz 57 (a blend of many breeds), 1 year of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Will you let me give my love to you?

Ivy is a precious little girl debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Toy Poodle mix, good with other dogs, about 6 years of age and now spayed.  Ivy was found abandoned and severely injured, with no sign of responsible ownership.  Her left eye was out of its socket and deflated, far past the point of being able to be saved.  But Ivy is adjusting well to one eye and she is eager to be loved by someone who will cherish her and keep her safe.

Before & After -- Tina Marie

Tina Marie, rescued from another shelter. Tina Marie, debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Tina Marie is a precious, tiny lady whose eyes and spirit were hidden under long, scraggly hair.  We rescued her from another shelter.  Tina Marie is a Shih-Tzu, about 4 years of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She needs more socialization, due to what appears to be years of neglect, so an experienced and gentle home is needed.  Special thanks to Kim, a dedicated volunteer, who arranged for Tina Marie 's professional grooming yesterday.
