Karen pleads for someone to love.  Her previous owners moved away and left her behind, devastating her and shaking her sense of order and stability.  Karen is a young angel, a Heinz 57 with Pekingese, 1 year young, good with other sweet dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Olive , 10, a gentle spirit, yearns for love. She was in severely matted condition from years of neglect at the time of rescue. We had her coat shaved away and discovered angelic eyes pleading to finally know what a loving home feels like. Jeff , saved from peril and now well, looks to people and wonders who he can love forever.  He is an adorable and playful puppy, a Labrador & Bully mix, 6 months of age, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  At the time of rescue Jeff was surrendered to us with distemper and a dangerously high fever. We rushed him into emergency care at an animal hospital and veterinarians were able to save his life with extensive care.  Thank you to the generous donors who made Jeff's rescue and rehabilitation possible!  Please help us find Jeff a wonderful, responsible home where he will never know peril again.

Jessica is recovering from neglect and becoming hopeful for her future.  Now groomed and eating premium food, she is unrecognizable from her matted condition at the time of rescue.  Jessica is a darling girl, a Bichon Frise & Poodle mix, spayed, good with dogs and mature kids, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Praise baby Hamlet and he pleads with his eyes to hear much more.    He loves people and dogs, cuddling and playing, and wants everyone around him to be happy too. Hamlet is a Snoopy-like Heinz 57 with Bully, expected to grow to at least medium size, 4 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    He was found abandoned on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered).

Analee , humble and bashful, deeply appreciates all kindness.    She is recovering exceptionally well from emaciation and starvation, thanks to the tender care of a foster family. Analee is a young Boxer mix, housetrained, good with cats & dogs & kids, 1 year of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She was at another shelter that asked for our help due to running out of space. Please be sure to keep Analee on a very steady meals and treats schedule. This will help her understand that she will never experience desperate hunger again.

Zach , heartbroken and confused, pleads for someone to love and assure him that everything is going to be okay. He is safe, of course, but he doesn't yet know it. ( Zach became homeless when his previous owners divorced.) Zach is a tender-hearted boy, a Terrier & Toy mix, 7 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Burton , 9, pleads for someone gentle to love.  He is a Toy & Terrier mix with expressive eyes and he frequently gestures with his front legs to communicate with you too.  Burton is good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity.

Dorian's pleading eyes will melt your heart. But tell him you want a hug, or it's time to play, and his tail will begin whipping and wagging excitedly.  Dorian likes giving doggie kisses.  He is a unique blend of several breeds (Mastiff, Shepherd, more), 3 years young and neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Dorian's left ear appears to have been severely torn (old injury). We have mixed information on whether he is compatible about other dogs and we continue to learn about him.  Dorian was at another shelter that asked for our help when they ran out of space for him.

Michael politely bows his head when you approach, then looks up with gentle and hopeful eyes pleading for kindness. Michael is an angelic boy, a Labradoodle mix, 6 years of age, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He is one of eleven animals rescued so far from a defunct animal organization. He is recovering well from neglect and hopes to have someone to love very soon.

Katerina wonders who she is supposed to love.    Handed from family to family, she cannot fathom the reasons (no fault of her own) for her rejection by those she adored unconditionally. Perry is a playful baby boy with pleading eyes. Your approval is very important to him.    Perry is a blend of small breeds (including Chihuahua & Italian Greyhound & more), 6 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Perry was found abandoned on a freeway exit ramp. Special Halloween adoption hours today: 10am-2pm.

Rupert looks to each new person with such longing and hope. He needs someone to love and to discover where he fits in this chaotic world. Rupert is an earnest, humble youngster, a Wirehair Dachshund & Toy mix, 1 year of age, crate-trained, good with dogs, now neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    His previous owner surrendered him due to "not enough time".    Please visit and ask for Rupert by name.

Darlene , 12, trying to emerge from crushing sadness and depression, needs a foster home, or a forever home, where she can lift her spirits in the comfort and peace of a loving home environment. We rescued Darlene from another shelter that asked for our help because of her mammary tumors. We had them removed at a veterinary hospital and Darlene recovered slowly from the operation.    Darlene is now eating again and willing to go for walks, so we are hoping the most perilous part of her depression is over. Darlene is a medium-size blend of many breeds, perhaps including Wheaten Terrier, and she is fine with other gentle dogs. Carmella's pleading eyes reveal her sensitivity and longing for kindness. She is exceptionally gentle and cherishes praise and reassurance. Treasure wonders whether new people like him and breaks hearts with his pleading eyes.  Once he realizes you accept him, he relaxes and accepts kindness.  Treasure is a young, petite Beagle mix, 3 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We believe he will adjust best in a home with a sister or brother dog for guidance.

Esteban , a 10-month junior kitten, loves dogs!    Like pups, he relishes getting snacks throughout the day and will look at you pleadingly to give him a taste of something delicious. Esteban was found abandoned outdoors with no sign of responsible ownership.    He is now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

It hurts to see the confusion and pleading in Glenda's eyes at the moment. But we believe in her and know to a certainty that she will bloom with kindness and nurturing care. Glenda is a young and gentle Schipperke mix who was at another shelter, so afraid she was huddling in a corner and pressed against the floor trying to hide.    We rescued her and matched her in a kennel with a friendly and confident dog, resulting in her immediately feeling more secure.    Glenda is 3 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Spencer's earnest, pleading eyes melt our hearts. He desperately wants someone to love. Spencer is a calm-natured, cream Dachshund & Beagle mix, 1 year young, neutered boy, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    The person who found Spencer on the streets (with no sign of responsible ownership) briefly had him in her home after capturing him and noted that he appears to be housetrained and crate-trained.
