Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Aries , charismatic and light-hearted, overflows with good cheer for everyone who is sweet to him.  He is a stunning Siberian Husky, 5 years of age and neutered, good with kids and large dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Aries likes playing ball and sitting devotedly by your side.  He was surrendered because a member of his previous family was allergic to him.  Please visit and ask for Aries by name.

Danny is a vibrant youngster who enjoys playing ball and bonding with cats, dogs, and mature kids.  He is an especially handsome Dachshund (with rare tri-coloration), 1 year of age, housetrained & crate-trained, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Danny was surrendered to us by his previous owner because his roommate was allergic to him.

Rita , a peppy youngster who delights in playing ball and bonding with people and dogs, debuts for adoption this morning at Nevada SPCA .  She is an adorable Miniature Schnauzer, 1 year of age, spayed girl, and housetrained & crate-trained.  Rita was surrendered by her previous owner for no fault of her own (his new job schedule).  Please plan and budget for professional grooming several times per year.

Cersei is an angelic, intelligent young girl politely asking for your consideration.  She is an American Eskimo Dog & Pomeranian mix, 2 years of age, housetrained, good with other dogs, and now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Cersei loves playing ball and bonding with people who are sweet to her.

Taffy is a comical, jovial youngster who likes playing ball and making people smile. He is a super cute Pug, 2 years of age, neutered boy, good with cats & dogs & mature kids, plus housetrained too, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Taffy needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Louie Louie loves playing ball. He favors plush toys and likes to carry them around to keep fun close by. Louie Louie is a sunny, boisterous Yellow Labrador Retriever, 1 year young, neutered boy, good with other playful dogs, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help because he was showing signs of fear and depression.    An active, social lifestyle is ideal for Louie Louie .

Raymond , 9, loves belly rubs, walks, playing ball, and frequent treats throughout the day. He is a burst of sunshine and shines when you praise him. Raymond is a Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, housetrained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He needed us due to his previous owner's relocation. Raymond likes cats, dogs, and older kids. But he needs to be fed alone and worries that his food will get stolen.

Balboa is a fun-loving, sporty youngster offering everlasting love.  He enjoys playing with kids and dogs, chasing balls, and chewing stuffed animal toys.  Balboa is an Airedale Terrier mix, 1 year of age, housetrained & crate-trained, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He was surrendered to us for no fault of his own (his previous owners' busy schedules).  Please visit and ask for Balboa by name.

Jellybean is an adorable and comical baby boy whose favorite things include being held and playing ball.  He is a Peke-A-Poo, 4 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Jellybean is crate-trained (though still working on housetraining) and good with dogs and older, gentle kids.  Please puppy-proof your home & yard and budget for a lifetime of pro grooming.  Jellybean's previous owner surrendered him due to her busy work schedule.

Vader likes to play ball and be included in family activities.   He is wonderfully friendly and outgoing, a Labrador Retriever, 5 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Vader is housetrained and good with dogs and kids.  He became homeless due to no fault of his own (his previous owners' housing situation).

Maddie enjoys her toys, especially playing ball, but she likes snuggling in your lap even more.   She is a beautiful and affectionate kitten with tortoiseshell & white coloring, 4 months of age, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety. Maddie is terrific with other cats too.  We rescued her from another shelter that ran out of space.

Roscoe beams with pride and hope, making great strides learning to trust people.  Rescued 6 weeks ago from the streets, terrified of quick movements, Roscoe wanted nothing to do with humans.  But he is now eagerly greeting staff and choosing to stand close for companionship.  Due to the severity of his abuse, Roscoe's journey to recovery will take much longer, but he has advanced enough that he can join a very experienced, adult-only home and continue improving.  Roscoe is a good-looking Australian Cattle Dog, 5 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, awaiting a hero at Nevada SPCA.  He enjoys playing ball and jumping in wading pools.

Bella and son, Bear, and daughter, Tres Tres (above), Bear and Bella Bear Bella Tres Tres, Bella, Bear Bella , and her son, Bear , and daughter, Tres , are a vibrant trio with shining spirits. They get around remarkably well, each relying on the other, and we often find them sitting in a clover-shape with their hind ends touching. They even play ball, if tossed around a baby pool so they can hear the splashes. All three are attractive Australian Cattle Dogs and spayed/neutered.  Bella is about 7 years of age, while Bear and Tres are 5 years of age. Their bond is magical, so despite the difficulty of a triple adoption, we believe that adopting them together is very important. Charles is a baby-faced senior, a jolly boy who is young at heart at 10 years of age.  He is a plump Shiba Inu mix, neutered, housetrained, good with cats & dogs & kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Charles loves getting doggie massages (from a volunteer dog masseuse) and playing ball.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing his angelic spirit in this new portrait. Charles needed us when his previous owners lost the family home to foreclosure.

Pee Wee is a huge, lovable sweetheart debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Great Dane & Mastiff mix, about 6 years of age and now neutered.  Large dog experience is preferred for his adoption. Pee Wee likes to play ball and he is reportedly compatible with older kids and large female dogs.  (He reportedly did not get along with male dogs, but that was before he was neutered.)  Pee Wee is good-natured, blessed with a sweet soul.

Bobbie Sox has the most luminous smile and the face of an angel. She is very shy with new people, but incredibly devoted once she trusts you, and then she wants to be right at your side or in your lap.  Bobbie Sox adores other dogs!  She enjoys playing catch with her favorite ball and chasing birds out of the backyard.  Bobbie Sox is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Bully & Retriever, about 7-8 years of age, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She needed us when her previous owner passed away. 

Throw a ball for Simbad and he will often chase it.  Batting at toys on the ends of sticks is also a favorite pasttime for this large, handsome boy.  When playtime is over, Simbad is content sitting in your lap and being brushed or petted. He is a grey medium-hair with a regal, leonine appearance, neutered, 5 years of age, ready for adoption in The Purr Palace playroom at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this good-looking portrait to help him find a loving, forever home.
