Calista , a radiant junior puppy, craves attention and gives kisses to the people who shower her with praise. She is an adorable Yorkshire Terrier, 11 months of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Calista was surrendered by her previous family for nipping/snapping/biting. We have not witnessed this behavior from her, but to err on the safe side for dog bite prevention, an experienced home is required for her please.

Toto , a remarkably charming youngster, loves sharing his joy with the people he bonds with.  He is a Cairn Terrier, 2 years of age, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Toto was at another shelter that asked for our help. Due to his play-biting, he needs an experienced home where he can get kind guidance to curb this behavior.  Please visit and ask for Toto by name.

Maxine is a luminous, vibrant young girl with an easy smile and tremendous enthusiasm for adventure.    She is a German Shepherd & Siberian Husky mix with sky-blue eyes, 1 year of age, good with large dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Maxine was found and captured in the parking lot of a large department store. She had no sign whatsoever of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not spayed).    Maxine deserves a stable, responsible, experienced home where she will always be safe and where her play-biting will be corrected.

Chinook is a vibrant, zany-fun baby boy with tremendous enthusiasm for playing and bonding with people.    He is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, 8 months of age, housetrained, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Chinook was surrendered by his previous owners who said they were unprepared for his high energy level and social needs.    He is still play-biting, so an experienced home is needed to kindly correct this behavior.

Roscoe is a calm, well-mannered, quiet (rarely ever barks) young Labrador Retriever mix, 3 years of age, a neutered boy, housetrained, available for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He loves laying in your lap and licking your face.  Thanks to the volunteers who have dedicated many hours to helping him, it's time to give Roscoe another look.  We are celebrating his progress with these brand new Pet'ographique portraits.  At the time of rescue many months ago Roscoe was play-biting hard, unaware of his strength.  He is now much more gentle and his play-biting has diminished.  Please help us find Roscoe an experienced, loving, forever home.

Lobo is a vivacious, exuberant baby boy bursting with joy for life!  He is a super cute German Shepherd puppy, 6 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. Lobo needed us because his previous owner could not stop his play-biting.  Lobo needs a very experienced owner, with German Shepherd knowledge, who is 100% committed to providing him with dog training and kind guidance.  He is reportedly compatible with cats and dogs, and so eager to join a loving, forever home.
