Antonio , no longer trembling, wisely smiles at us when we compliment him and explain that everything is going to be okay.  Being accepted is of utmost importance to him.  Antonio is a plump Pointer & Hound mix, 7 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He was at another shelter that asked for our help because of his fear and shaking.

Luigi , a thoughtful and gentle Italian Greyhound, pleads for peace-of-mind.  He is 3 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Luigi was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity. He was reportedly the victim of neglect from a suspected breeder.  Please help Luigi build self-esteem and confidence. A big sister or brother dog could be wonderful for him adjustment too.

Cindy , so desperate for kindness and peace-of-mind, is ready to bloom. Burdened with despair and confusion, she walks slowly and hangs her head to the ground. But sit close to her and talk sweet, and soon she will lift her chin and accept your touch. Cindy is a Labrador Retriever with tremendous loving potential. She is 6 years of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Cindy is 1 of 18 animals we have rescued so far from a defunct animal organization and her background is otherwise unknown. Paula is adjusting to life on three legs, but emotionally, her recovery from domestic violence will take much longer. This very gentle girl was at another shelter that asked for our help. Her hind left leg was so badly broken beyond repair that it had to be amputated. Paula longs for peace-of-mind and asks for a gentle owner who will always keep her safe. She is a young Chihuahua & toy mix, 3 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Lana , 12, a tiny girl only weighing 5 pounds, is desperate for peace-of-mind. She is very head-shy and terrified that strangers will try to hurt her. Colleen is a tender-hearted little lady asking for someone gentle to accept her unconditional devotion and always keep her safe. Peace-of-mind is Colleen's utmost concern. She is head-shy, fearful of strangers, and burdened with frequent nightmares. We don't know what she endured, but it's clear she needs to see only the best of human nature from now on. Dori is a gentle young soul yearning for peace-of-mind. She is a German Shepherd & Belgian Shepherd mix, 2 years of age, a spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Dori is good with other dogs and very shy with new people.    She is recovering from starvation and she is blind in her left eye (birth defect or old injury).    We rescued Dori from another shelter.    Please help find a hero for Dori .

Luther yearns for peace-of-mind and he has tremendous loving potential.  He is a 95-pound Rottweiler, 4 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Luther was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his cruel past.  He wants to believe in people and will sit close to you for companionship, but watches carefully to ensure no one attempts to hurt him again.  Please help find Luther a very experienced, stable, adult-only home where he can continue to improve and see only the best of human nature.

Champion is an earnest, sporty boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Bully mix with panda-like coloring, about 4 years of age and neutered.  Champion is reportedly good with kids, but shy with adults until he knows they intend him no harm.  (We suspect he has witnessed domestic violence or other domestic traumas based on his timidity and the limited information obtained from his previous owner.)  Please help find Champion a responsible, stable lifelong home where he will be showered with love and enjoy daily playtime sessions.
