Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Jenna , a precious baby girl, saved from peril and now healed, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA and she is ready to bless the world with her love. Jenna is an affectionate puppy, a Toy Fox Terrier & Chihuahua mix, 5 months of age and now spayed. At the time of rescue she was suffering from the life-threatening parvo virus. We rushed Jenna into emergency care at an animal hospital. Thanks to very generous donors, we were able to have extensive treatment provided for her and veterinarians succeeded in saving Jenna's life.

Samurai , saved from peril and now beaming with joy, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    He is a fun-loving junior puppy, a Siberian Husky with heterochromia (blue eye and brown eye), 8 months young, neutered, and good with other large dogs. At the time of rescue Samurai was ill with parvo virus. We rushed him to an animal hospital for emergency care. Thanks to generous donors who made his extensive treatment possible, Samurai recovered beautifully.

Daisy Daniel Daphne Ellie Ellie's Babies -- Daisy , Daniel , and Daphne -- triumphantly debut for adoption today, Independence Day, at Nevada SPCA , which is open for adoptions with special holiday hours from 10am-1pm. At the time of rescue, Ellie and her three puppies were in peril from parvo virus. We rushed them into emergency veterinary care at an animal hospital. Thanks to extensive care made possible by generous donors, veterinarians were able to save all four. ( Ellie , the mom, has already been spayed and adopted.) Daisy , Daniel , and Daphne are adorable blends of small breeds (Chihuahua, Jack Russell Terrier, Miniature Pinscher), just under 5 months of age, and now spayed/neutered. Like their mother, they are wonderfully affectionate and super sweet.

Coco , now well and eyes sparkling, wants someone wonderful to love forever.    She likes crawling, demurely, to your feet and then asks you to pick her up and hold her.    Coco is a Yorkshire Terrier mix, 1 year young and spayed, good with other dogs, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . At the time of rescue, from a suspected breeder, Coco was in peril from parvovirus. We rushed her into emergency medical care at an animal hospital, and thanks to extensive treatment made possible by generous donors, veterinarians were able to save her life.

Leonardo , now healed and saved from peril, looks with bright eyes to a safe future full of love.  He is an adorable Pekingese & Toy mix puppy, 5 months of age, neutered, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  At the time of rescue Leonardo was abandoned and very ill with a life-threatening disease (parvo virus).  Thank you to the exceptionally generous donors who made his extensive emergency care at an animal hospital possible.

Hazel , a jolly burst of sunshine, will constantly win your smiles with her irresistible charm! She is an outgoing, young Staffordshire Terrier mix (with a bronze eye and gold eye), 3 years of age and spayed, housetrained, and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Hazel was dying at the time of rescue. So weak from parvo virus, she had severely faded and could no longer stand or lift her head from the floor. Thanks to extensive emergency care at an advanced specialty veterinary center, and an extraordinarily generous sponsor, Hazel made a beautiful recovery. She is eager to love! Adam , a well-behaved baby boy, loves bonding with cats and dogs, snuggles in laps, and likes meeting people of all ages.  He is a super cute Chi-Weenie puppy (Chihuahua & Dachshund), 5 months of age, crate-trained, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Adam is now well and thriving beautifully.  At the time of rescue his life was in peril from the parvo virus.  We rushed him into emergency care at an animal hospital for extensive treatment.  Thank you very much to the generous donors who made his lifesaving veterinary care possible! Adam has been in wonderful foster care since his release from the hospital.  His foster mom has socialized him and shown him that home is a safe place.

Diamond , now well, blooms with energy, hope, and affection!    Her favorite things include close cuddling and playing ball. Diamond is a cream & white Bully mix with adorable freckles, 5 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Diamond has been raised with cats, kittens, and dogs in a wonderful foster home. At the time of rescue Diamond was in peril with parvo virus. Sharlene loves people, dogs, toys, treats, and long playtime sessions.  She is a precious junior puppy, a Bully & Retriever mix, now healed and 6 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . At the time of rescue Sharlene had been abandoned in a family's backyard and she was perilously ill with the parvo virus. Butch , now well and lifting his head high with hope, eagerly awaits someone he can love and count on forever.    He is an adorable youngster, a blend of Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . ** Caution to sensitive readers ** At the time of rescue Butch was found dying in a box that had been discarded in a park. He was suffering from parvo virus. We rushed him to an emergency animal hospital and it's veterinarians were able to save his life with extensive advanced care.    Thank you to the generous donors who made Butch's lifesaving treatment possible.

Dori , now well and building good strength, loves to play, meet people, and learn everything she can.  She is a beautiful baby girl, a German Shepherd, 4 months of age and spayed, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  At the time of rescue Dori was found abandoned and perilously ill with parvo virus. Majestic , rescued and healed, glows with joy and hope for his future!    He is a Bully puppy, good with other dogs, 6 months of age, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . A volunteer found Majestic in October. He had been abandoned in a crate and he was suffering from parvo virus. We rushed Majestic to an animal emergency hospital for extensive care and his life was saved. Like the other puppy posted today (Joshua), Majestic overflows with gratitude for the kindness of everyone he meets. Please only consider him if you like puppy kisses!

Joshua , now well, feels ready to conquer the world and he thanks every person and dog he meets with kisses! Joshua is a junior puppy who looks like a teddy bear. He is a Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, 9 months of age, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . At the time of rescue Joshua's life was threatened by the parvo virus and his previous owners surrendered him. Valentine , a puppy found abandoned and perilously ill, has made a beautiful recovery and triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She is bursting with energy and enthusiasm for her new life! Valentine is a playful German Shepherd, 8 months of age, and now spayed.    Thank you very much to the donors to our advanced care fund who helped make her emergency veterinary care possible.    We believe Valentine is compatible with kids and some dogs, though she may be too rambunctious and excitable for small children.

Cleopatra , a baby girl rescued in January, makes a stunning recovery and triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.    She is a Labrador Retriever mix puppy, 4 months of age and spayed, affectionate and eager to devote herself to someone who will treasure her for life. Sidney , an inquisitive baby boy, is now well and eager to meet people and begin his new life.  He is a remarkably cute Chihuahua mix (likely with Italian Greyhound) puppy, 7 months of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. Winston is an earnest junior puppy who cannot comprehend why the world has been so cruel.  But every day the more silly and fun side of his personality is emerging and we are so proud of his progress.  Winston was found abandoned in front of a large pet food store in Las Vegas, perilously ill with parvo virus.  We had emergency veterinary care provided for him (thanks to generous donors to our advanced care fund) and Winston has now made a full recovery!  He is a cream & white Chihuahua, 11 months of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Nemo is a bashful young cutie triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He refused getting his picture taken this morning until we positioned him over a shoulder where he could feel more comfortable.  Nemo is very snuggly and he craves reassurance.  He is a Lhasa-Poo, 18 months young, good with other dogs, and now neutered.  At the time of rescue Nemo was sick with the dangerous parvo virus.  But thanks to our advanced medical care fund, we were able to have extensive veterinary care provided for him and he made a full recovery!  Please help find Nemo a wonderful, stable home where he can continue building confidence and self-esteem.

Cecily is a tiny, pixie-like baby girl with a precious soul and she triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a small Heinz 57 -- a sweet blend of many breeds -- about 6 months of age, good with other dogs, and now spayed.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. At the time of rescue Cecily was in peril from the deadly parvo virus.  We rushed her to a veterinary hospital, and thanks to extensive veterinary care made possible by our advanced medical fund, Cecily made a full, beautiful recovery!
