Please consider sharing to help find loving foster parents. Anya , a tiny and pregnant Toy mix, was saved yesterday by a man whose relative was threatening to "dump her on the streets". Marissa , a golden-eyed shorthair feline, 2 years of age, is expected to give birth in two weeks or less. Pinto , just 2 weeks of age, needs to stay with his mom and 5 siblings. Their foster commitment will be for approximately 2 months. In addition, 30 more rescued kittens need foster heroes too!

A married couple horseback riding together in a southern Utah forest discovered a starving dog so frail and emaciated she could barely stand up. The couple, Brent & Kimberly, lifted her up on to one of their horses, rode her back to the safety of their home, and then heroically nursed her back to life. Bebe is now enjoying lifted spirits, good body mass, and ever-improving energy levels.    She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Manchester Terrier and many other breeds, 3 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids (but not cats), and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Annie is an adventurous baby girl who loves exploring rooms and playing hide & seek with people and cats.    Everything and everyone in the home is fascinating to her. Annie is a blue & cream (dilute tortoiseshell) kitten, 3 months of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . After being found motherless at only a few weeks of age, Annie survived by bottle feeding and nurturing care in a devoted foster home. She was raised and socialized with cats, dogs, and kids.  Jane is Annie's sister.  Jane loves her toys.  She was raised and socialized in the same wonderful foster home as her sister.

Sunlight , pregnant and captured on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership, is understandably worried about having a comfortable and peaceful place to birth and raise her babies.    Will you please share her picture to help find her a foster hero? Jasper and Melanie were found inexplicably abandoned in a laundry basket in the middle of a parking lot without their mother. They cannot yet eat on their own and need bottle-feeding every few hours to survive. Jasper and Melanie need a foster hero please for approximately 10-12 weeks. Rooney was just weeks old when a man found him stuck in a tree. (The mother must have taken him up there, but was not able to come back for him.)  Rooney has since been fostered with nurturing care. He is now 4 months of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. Rooney likes chatting with you, especially when you say his name, and he's great with other cats.

Charlie and Pixie, with Kona in the back Kona and Charlie, with Pixie in the back Charlie and Pixie , and their brother behind them ( Kona ), were malnourished and in peril in the desert heat. At least one of their siblings had already perished. They were found by a teenager who cleaned them up and provided emergency care until they could be surrendered to us.   A woman heard a newborn kitten crying when she was taking out her trash. She found this little boy underneath the dumpster and his mother was nowhere in sight. We placed him in a wonderful foster home for bottle-feeding and other nurturing care.     Clayton is now 3 months of age, neutered, well-socialized with cats and dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Clayton is 1 of 12 rescued kittens ready for adoption today. 40 more rescued kittens will be ready for adoption tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10am!

Bandit and 24 more rescued kittens are ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA! Bandit , rescued as a newborn, survived thanks to the nurturing and bottle-feeding from his foster mom.    He is quite the acrobat and loves his toys and playing with other cats and kittens.    Bandit is now 3 months of age, neutered, and ready for a loving, indoor-only, forever home. Bugsy , Bandit's brother, is also entertaining and full of zest for life. Please kitten-proof your home carefully for his safety.

10 babies -- 16 days old, 5 girls and 5 boys -- are now safe and being placed in foster homes this afternoon for bottle-feeding and other nurturing care. We rescued the puppies from another shelter that asked for our help. Their mother, a Bully mix, was reportedly confiscated from a backyard breeder. Her previous owner was allowed by authorities there to reclaim her, but only after she was spayed to ensure she never breeds again. The authorities refused to let the mother's previous owner have the puppies and instead directed the babies to our rescue program for foster care and then adoption placement in responsible, lifelong homes. We have foster homes for all 10 lined up for tonight, but some can only help short-term, so if you are interested in helping as a foster parent to help nurture and socialize them through the whole summer, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for DJ. So far today, Ares and 6 more rescued motherless kittens need loving foster homes. Ares was given to someone as an 'unwanted gift'. He is about 10 weeks of age and his foster commitment needs to be approximately 2-3 weeks for socialization and care until he is old enough to be neutered. The other 6 rescued kittens are approximately 7 weeks of age, eating on their own, and needing foster homes for approximately 5-6 weeks. Just arrived and in need of a nurturing foster home please. Cheryl and her 4-week-old babies, Stephen and Susanne , need a foster home for approximately 2 months. They were surrendered by a woman who was watching them for a friend, who then never returned for them. Cheryl is a good mom and loves being around people. Tenderheart's remarkable survival and ongoing recovery. Post 2 of 2 this morning of dogs surviving perilous starvation and ready for nurturing foster homes to continue their recoveries. Tenderheart was found abandoned in a crate without food or water for an unknown length of time. Most of her body mass was gone and you could see her every bone. Like Elsie, posted earlier this morning, we rushed Tenderheart into emergency care at a veterinary hospital to save her life. Tenderheart is eating premium, nutritious food well on her own. It will take many weeks to regain muscle and energy, which may happen best in the peace and comfort of a gentle foster home. Nicholas and his three siblings were found by a person taking a neighborhood walk. The babies are just 5 weeks of age. Their mother was nowhere in sight. Motherless kittens are being rescued nearly hourly, on average, throughout southern Nevada and they need surrogate parents. Bridgette Esmerelda   Bridgette and Esmerelda are 10 of the rescued kittens so far today who need loving foster homes please.
