Evianna

Image
Evianna is a loyal girl seeking someone she can devote herself to loving forever.  She is a medium-size blend of several breeds, including Boxer & Shar Pei, 4 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Evianna reportedly can bond with other dogs with time and respect. She is also compatible with mature kids.  Evianna needed us when her previous owners moved into a residence where dogs are not permitted.

Henry , well-behaved and charming, asks for your consideration so he can become a valued member of a loving, forever home.  He is good with cats, dogs, and kids, plus housetrained too.  Henry is a medium-size, cream & white Heinz 57 with Queensland Heeler, 5 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He needed us due to his previous owner's health problems.

Triumphant survival of Cora and Rosie!

Image
Cora Rosie Cora and Rosie are endearing baby girls who survived against all odds and triumphantly debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA! Both girls are affectionate, friendly, and playful. They are 7 months of age, good with other dogs, and now spayed. We suspect they are Aussie & Bully mixes and likely will remain medium in size. At the time of rescue we discovered the girls so ill they could not move in the backseat of a car and smeared with blood from parvo virus discharge. We encased them in blankets and rushed them to emergency care at a veterinary hospital. Now, almost 2 months later, they are thriving beautifully. Thank you to all of the donors who support advanced care and who make it possible to save the lives of Cora , Rosie , and others with severe challenges and hardships.

Hazel & General

Image
Hazel & General , sister and brother, are magnetic youngsters and perfectly well-behaved. (They have one vice -- turning old socks into their favorite toys.) Hazel & General have one of the strongest bonds we've seen. If separated even for the shortest amounts of time, they cry in distress. Reunite them and their world is joyous again. They are medium-size Heinz 57s with Husky, 2 years of age, housetrained & crate-trained, great with kids of all ages, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They became homeless due to a previous family member's allergies.

Bradford

Image
Bradford is beginning to enjoy people. His whole way of thinking seems to be changing and he's becoming more eager to accept kindness. Bradford is 1 of the 33 Whippet mixes rescued this spring from a cruel home. He is 3 years of age, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Most of the 33 are either already up for adoption or have been adopted. There are several more who will be ready soon too based on their emotional progress and spay/neuter surgeries. 2-minute, uplifting video about Bradford and the healing of the 32 others rescued.

Eric

Image
Eric reveals fantastic charm when he knows you are happy with him.    This bashful youngster has tremendous loving potential and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org). Eric is a medium-size (38 pounds, short legs and long body) blend of many breeds, 3 years of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs.    We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity.

Bay

Image
Bay, just 8 months of age, worries that people don't like her.  We are working on helping her build self-esteem so she will understand she is worthy of love.  Bay is a junior puppy, medium-size Heinz 57 with Beagle & Mini Bully, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Bay from another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.

Princessa

Princessa , a beautiful young soul, is very gentle and affectionate. She needs a forever home and debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Princessa is a young, medium-size Heinz 57 with Aussie Cattle Dog & Aussie Shepherd, 2 years of age and now spayed. She is housetrained and good with dogs and mature kids.  Princessa became homeless due to no fault of her own and deserves a stable, responsible owner who will cherish her.

Shelly

Image
Shelly is a well-behaved girl who offers unconditional devotion in exchange for a stable, forever home.  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Australian Cattle Dog and stunning facial coloration, 5 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Shelly is housetrained and compatible with dogs and older kids.  She is initially shy, then cannot get enough affection from those she trusts.

I just don't want to be hurt again.

Please help us find a hero for Theodore , who is a young boy with enormous loving potential, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Theodore sees humans as capable of violence and rage -- his head scars and timidity support the suspicions of a volunteer who rescued him from a home where he was suspected of being beaten with brooms and other objects.  So it is other dogs who give Theodore comfort and hope.  He is making some progress with us with trust, but finding a home with a big brother or big sister dog is key for his continued healing.  Theodore is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Retriever, about 2 years of age, now neutered and ready for an experienced and stable home where he sees only the best of human nature.

Bobbie Sox has the face of an angel.

Image
Bobbie Sox has the most luminous smile and the face of an angel. She is very shy with new people, but incredibly devoted once she trusts you, and then she wants to be right at your side or in your lap.  Bobbie Sox adores other dogs!  She enjoys playing catch with her favorite ball and chasing birds out of the backyard.  Bobbie Sox is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Bully & Retriever, about 7-8 years of age, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She needed us when her previous owner passed away.

Promise to shield me from evil, hunger, and despair.

Lindsey's wise eyes also reveal great warmth.  Her face is still gaunt from starvation/emaciation, but she is steadily regaining weight and spirit now that she is eating premium, probiotic food.  Lindsey's history is mostly unknown.  She was a stray on the streets captured by an animal control officer who took her to a government-funded shelter.  That shelter asked for Nevada SPCA's help because she was so severely underweight.  Lindsey is a medium-size Retriever mix, about 4 years of age, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We want this sweetheart to never know hunger or loneliness again.
