Scooby, an endearing feline with irresistible charm.

We call this handsome boy a "greeter" -- he enjoys being right at the door to welcome you when you walk into his playroom.  Scooby is a grey tuxedo medium-hair, neutered, about 6 years of age, with jewel-green eyes.  He adores people and tolerates respectful cats.  Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Scooby by name.  Stunning portraits courtesy of Pet'ographique .

I have the happiest feet!

Mizzy has a universe of love to share with the fortunate person (or people) who adopt her and give her a forever home. She is a gorgeous, affectionate brown tabby with white, spayed girl, approximately 3 years of age. Mizzy needed us when her previous owner moved out-of-state without her. She melts our hearts when she does her 'happy feet dance' while looking into our eyes. Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these magnificent portraits that capture her sweet spirit.

He gave me a violent goodbye. But I am rebounding emotionally.

A witness saw someone shaking a blanket out of a second-story window of an apartment complex, and out with the dust, intentionally, flew this gorgeous little girl. The witness scooped her up, worried she had broken bones, and brought her to us. We named her Goldie and a veterinarian evaluated her and determined that though traumatized, she was not physically injured from the ordeal. Goldie still believes in people and she is drawn to kind, gentle humans for affection and reassurance. Goldie is a golden brown tabby, medium-hair feline, spayed, about 3 years of age. Please adopt her, speak softly to her, and make sure she never experiences human cruelty again.

I love catnapping in window ledges.

We think it is fitting that this endearing young girl likes to be in the sunshine (indoors only, of course, for her safety), soaking up rays as she naps by windows.  She beams with innocence and kindness. Maya is a gorgeous medium-hair tabby ready for adoption today in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.  She is spayed, just a year of age, and blessed with soft, round, expressive eyes. Maya needed us when she and her kitten were brought in for rescue.  We have conflicting accounts of her background, but the pair found themselves unwanted and in desperate need.  Her baby has since been spayed and adopted, and now our focus is on getting Maya adopted into a forever home too. Please plan on regular brushing, perhaps weekly, to keep her looking and feeling good.  She is playful and would love for you to devote time each day to engaging her with toys.

I will be sure to let you know how much I love you every day.

Update: Princess Ashlyn was adopted on February 12th! Princess Ashlyn is exceptionally affectionate.  She is famous here for gently head-butting us on our chins and wiggling in our laps for attention. This beautiful girl is friendly with everyone -- children, adults, cats, and dogs.  She was in a loving home previously, but a newborn baby was allergic to her. Princess Ashlyn is a grey medium-hair with green eyes, spayed, approximately 4-5 years of age. Please ask for her by name in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.

I am very loving and I do remarkably well in small spaces.

At the time of rescue L'Oreal was pregnant and out on the streets, in a hopeless situation made worse with her lack of sight. But thanks to loving foster care, she had her babies indoors, safely and in comfort. Now it is L'Oreal's turn to be adopted.  She is a mellow, beautiful smoke tabby, medium-hair, spayed, and about 3 years of age. Despite being mostly blind, she has never had a problem finding her food or litter box.   She does extremely well in quiet, small spaces and enjoys cuddling in your lap, so perhaps she can live primarily in a designated guest room or cozy part of your home. Please ask for L'Oreal by name in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.  She is one of 200 rescued, spayed/neutered cats there awaiting loving, forever homes.

Please make sure I am never lonely again.

Leigha delights in taking catnaps stretched out on a window seat where she can soak up the sun's rays from the comfort and safety of being indoors. She is a sweet feline with mousy good-looks and captivating green eyes, a medium-hair with some calico patterning, spayed, about 3 years of age. Leigha is wary of new people, but warm-hearted with those she trusts, and she loves other friendly cats. She was rescued after being abandoned in a hotel suite. Please ask for Leigha by name in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms. Very special thanks to Pet'ographique for showcasing Leigha so beautifully in a portrait to help her find a forever home.

The violence to me was not necessary.

Fuzzball is a gorgeous young girl with the temperament and affectionate nature of a Ragdoll breed.  She goes limp in your arms when you pick her up and trusts you to be gentle with her. Her previous owner (or monster) failed to destroy her trust in kind people, despite dangerously heaving her out of the window of a moving car in our parking lot. This terrible incident was witnessed by one of our staff, who scooped up her body and raced her inside to the veterinary clinic to check for broken bones or broken teeth or other injuries. Though shaken up badly emotionally, fortunately Fuzzball was not injured physically.  She is a 2 year-old, now spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready for adoption into a loving home, free of violence. Fuzzball enjoys other sweet, respectful cats and she craves tender loving care and attention from people.  Her medium-hair coat needs regular brushing. Please ask for her in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playroo...

Every day is a play day to me.

Update: Lexor was adopted on December 24th! There is no doubt at all that Lexor will provide a lifetime of entertainment, along with a lifetime of love. Watching him play, we see YouTube moments we wish we could catch on film to show how athletic and silly and fun-loving he can be. Lexor is an adorable medium-hair, parti-colored feline with a half mustache and piercing eyes.  He is neutered, about 9 months of age, and ready for adoption today. Lexor enjoys other cats, but since he plays a bit rough he does best with other cats who are also outgoing and can handle his intense play. Please visit Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms and ask for him by name. Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this stunning portrait that captures his personality so beautifully.
