Sandra is full of character, an intelligent girl with tremendous potential. She has grown to love the staff and she is overjoyed and wiggling in happiness when they enter her kennel. But as the victim of prior abuse, she tries to block them from bringing in mops, brooms, or any other large object she perceives as a weapon. Sandra is making beautiful progress though and building a bit more trust and confidence each day. She is ready to be adopted by a hero who will patiently continue helping her improve and adjust (and realize that she will never again be the victim of violence or rage). Sandra is an attractive Heinz 57 with Shepherd with gold & creaming coloring, 4 years of age and spayed, housetrained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Her left ear is scarred from dog bites and she is picky about which dogs she will trust.
