Yanni , wise and friendly and loyal, offers unconditional devotion in exchange for a stable, forever home.  He is a magnificent German Shepherd, 4 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other large dogs and mature kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Yanni was surrendered by his previous owner, who cited her elderly age and deteriorating health as the reason.  Yanni's ear tips are missing and the wounds/scars are consistent with sun damage and insect bites.  He will reportedly not tolerate anyone yelling or acting threatening around those he loves, especially women, so a calm and steady household is ideal for Yanni .

Percy is a Flat-Coated Retriever mix needing a home and offering lifelong devotion in exchange.    He is 6 years of age, good with other dogs, housetrained, neutered, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Percy was at another shelter and needed our help.

Dynasty overflows with joy and happiness when you tell her it's time to have fun!  She is a young, vibrant Border Collie mix, 2 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Dynasty is compatible with some dogs, but picky with others.  She was at another shelter that asked for our help.

Camaro hopes you will let him cuddle in your lap.  He becomes very devoted to those who are kind to him.  Camaro is a well-behaved youngster, a handsome Queensland Heeler, 2 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats & dogs & kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  He is wary of strangers and needs you to tell him that houseguests are welcome and intend no harm.

Bruce shines with goodwill and adoration for every nice person he meets.    His favorite things include playing with kids, fetching his toy moose, and resting loyally at your side. Bruce is an attractive blend of Queensland Heeler & Shepherd, 9 years of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats and dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He needed us when his previous family moved to Hawaii.

Diamond needs to know who she can devote herself to forever. She is a beautiful spirit. She is housetrained, good with other dogs, and she enjoys playing fetch.   Diamond is a Queensland Heeler, 4 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She needed us due to her previous owner's financial hardship.

May , an exceptionally intelligent junior puppy, loves to join you for adventures, finding joy in assisting you loyally around the house and backyard, and being with you for walks and playtime. She is a Border Collie mix with golden eyes, 11 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    May is good with large dogs, but cannot be around small dogs or other small animals.    She sneaks doggie kisses on people when least expected.    May was at another shelter that asked for our help.

Ronaldo , an exceptionally poised youngster, likes sleeping beside the people he adores. He is a sporty, handsome Manchester Terrier, 3 years of age, neutered boy, housetrained, good with dogs and kids of all ages, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Ronaldo needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.

Gabriel wants the people he loves to be happy.    He watches your mood carefully and checks on you often. When you tell Gabriel that you appreciate his devotion, he covers your cheeks in doggie kisses. He is an angelic Chihuahua mix, 8 years of age and neutered, great with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued Gabriel from another shelter that asked for our help.

Ranger loves bonding with kids and adults.  He is terrific with other dogs too, plus housetrained and amiable in temperament.  Ranger is an attractive blend of Yorkshire Terrier and other Terrier breeds, about 4 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Ranger needed us when his previous family moved into a home where dogs are not permitted.

Kaiser is a brilliant, loyal boy hoping you will accept his unconditional devotion. He is a magnificent German Shepherd, 4 years of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats & dogs & older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Kaiser needed us when his previous owners moved away without him. An experienced home is required because he is territorial in terms of not wanting strangers (especially unknown men in uniforms) on the family property.

Roxy had a heartbreaking experience, but her spirits are back up and she is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. She is a lovely, small (29 pounds) Beagle mix with a long Dachshund-like body, 3 years young, and good with other friendly dogs. Roxy's previous owner died and she was inside the house, alone with the body, for reportedly a few days before the death was discovered. We were very concerned about Roxy becoming dangerously depressed, but volunteers and staff have been showering her with attention and reassurances.

Update: Kit was adopted on August 21st! Korean Jindo Dogs are known for their tremendous loyalty to their owners. Kit is clearly crushed about losing his previous home. We are working hard to pull him out of depression, but some days he is just too sad to eat. The sooner we can find him a committed new owner, the better, so he can focus his energy on sharing and bonding with someone special. Kit is a good-looking Korean Jindo Dog, neutered male, about 4 years of age, and he debuts for adoption today. He is intelligent and sweet, and perhaps best as the only dog (since he was surrendered due to not getting along with another dog). Please be sure to carefully secure your home and yard for his safety and protection. When you visit please ask for Kit by name so you can spend some time with him on our adoption patio or courtyard. Korean Jindo Dog knowledge and/or experience is preferred.

Update: Faye was adopted on November 14th! Faye has adjusted well to life on three legs. This past spring she was struck by a car and her left front leg was crushed beyond repair. We rescued her and had emergency medical care provided to save her. Staff & volunteers fell in love with her, admiring her hearty spirit and quieter nature. Faye was adopted in June to an experienced home. Her new owner accepted that she can be fussy and likes things to be stable and consistent. But she was loyal to a fault, giving his male friends "the lip" when she was not pleased with them, and she even nipped one man's shoe. This protective behavior can be diminished with the help of a professional trainer or behaviorist. Please only consider her if you are fully committed to pursuing every reasonable opportunity to help her become a more well-balanced and well-adjusted girl. Faye is housetrained and good with cats and dogs. She is an Australian Shepherd mix, approximately 7 years...

Update: Jack was adopted on July 3rd! Jack is battling depression. He does not know that his owner died and he is confused by not being with her anymore. He wants someone to share his love with and, ideally, his new mom and/or dad will maintain a quiet, stable home. Jack is a loyal and attractive small-to-medium-size Heinz 57, most likely with Rat Terrier & Beagle, neutered male, approximately 7 years of age. He likes other calm dogs. Adopt him and make a lifetime commitment to him joining your family, and he will reward you with his whole heart.
