Emily , 6 months of age, bashfully meets new people. Once she feels comfortable, she stands in their lap and gives puppy kisses. Emily is a beautiful Border Collie & Greyhound mix, tall and slender, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.     Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. Her dry nose is improving with vitamin E. She was surrendered by her previous owners for being "too big".    Please visit and ask for Emily by name.

Miranda was found in a street, presumably run over and so fortunate to be alive.  Her left front leg is very badly broken, but veterinarians believe her leg can be saved.  Miranda needs a foster home where she can steadily and quietly heal. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for DJ. Miranda is a Maltese & Toy mix, a baby girl of about 4 months, with a very gentle and loving spirit.

Linda's warm eyes reveal her emotions and glow when you tell her she's a sweetheart.  She is a dainty young girl, likely a Terrier & Chihuahua mix, 3 years of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Linda was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not spayed).

Esteban , an adorable youngster, ran into the street and stopped in front of a car. Fortunately, the kind woman was able to brake in time and get him out of danger. He had no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered). Esteban is a Toy & Terrier mix with a loving nature.    He is 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is still puppy-like, so please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.   Esteban adores people and enjoys playing with other dogs.

Debbie, March 29 Debbie, March 29 Debbie, January 15 Lilly, Debbie's mother Debbie was very bashful for her two pictures this morning. (She debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.)    The third picture is of Debbie at the time of her rescue on January 15. The fourth picture is of her mother, Lilly. You may recall Lilly and her 9 babies were rescued from a man threatening to shoot them. All survived, and thrived, thanks to wonderful foster care. Debbie is now almost 4 months of age, spayed, loving with people and playful with other dogs. She is shy and needs time to warm to new people. Some of Debbie's siblings have already been adopted, while others will be ready for adoption soon (unless adopted by their foster parents). Lilly will soon be spayed and ready for adoption too. (Lilly is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Shar Pei and Shepherd. The father(s) of the puppies is unknown.) Thank you to all of the foster ...

Blue gently puts his paw on your leg to let you know he needs to go outside.  He is housetrained & crate-trained and compatible with cats and dogs.  Blue is at least 3/4 Chinese Crested (hairless except for his face, tail, and legs), 8 years of age, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is shy with new people and needs plenty of time to warm up.  Blue needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Aramis L'Oreal Versace These playful babies -- Aramis , L'Oreal , and Versace -- have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home with cats and small dogs since their rescue from the streets.  The kittens are now 4 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  L'Oreal is very gentle and loves cuddling at your side.  Her brother Aramis can spend hours chasing the laser light, while Versace most enjoys playing hide-and-seek in the kitten tubes.  Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.  They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong companionship.

Rusty is forlorn, heartbroken and lonely.  He cannot understand why he lost his home due to his previous owners' declining health.  Rusty takes great comfort in being around other dogs and we strongly prefer adopting him into a home where there is another dog (or dogs).  Rusty is a very handsome Shetland Sheepdog, about 4 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is reportedly fine with cats too and housetrained and crate-trained.

Kaili is an exceptionally devoted girl, very content to be cradled in your arms as she looks up into your eyes lovingly.  She is an English Toy Spaniel & Papillon mix, about 4 years of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Kaili is good with other dogs and reportedly housetrained.  She needed us when her previous owner passed away and she had nowhere safe to go.
