DeNiro's favorite thing is cuddling and doing everything he can to squeeze onto your lap. ("Lap dogs" come in all sizes.)  He is a youngster with cute dimples and an affectionate nature, a blend of Retriever and Shepherd, 2 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  DeNiro was at another shelter that ran out of space.

Sammy is sporty and loves hiking, but when it's time to relax he thinks of himself as a "lap dog". He is very devoted to those he loves and wants to join you for every activity, even simple car rides. Sammy is a handsome Shepherd mix, 5 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He reportedly worries that children and dogs are going to try to steal his toys. An adult-only home without other animals is ideal for Sammy .

Marie is happiest when crawling onto your lap and sneaking doggie kisses on your cheeks.  She is a vibrant girl, reportedly a blend of Golden Retriever & German Shepherd, 5 years of age and spayed, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Marie is reportedly compatible with older kids and most dogs, though she is picky about some canines being around her.  Please ensure you have plenty of quality time daily for this very social girl.

Katie seems shocked to hear praise. She looks around to see if you are really praising someone else. When she realizes the kind words are intended for her, she slowly steps forward and edges her way toward your lap for a cuddle. Katie is shy and lovable, a medium-size Heinz 57 with Shepherd, 9 years of age, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She is 1 of 33 animals rescued so far from a collapsed animal organization in northern Arizona and her background is otherwise unknown. Katie has enormous loving potential. Please share her picture to help find her someone understanding and comforting.

Ronaldo often cries with joy when you hug and cuddle him. He wants to be a lap dog. Ronaldo is a young Bully & Staffie mix, 2 years of age, good with other dogs (unconfirmed), now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Annie's favorite things include being a "lap dog" and playing in splash pools.  She is an adorable junior puppy, an American Bulldog, housetrained & crate-trained, good with mature kids, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Annie was surrendered to us because she play too rough with cats.  It appears she can bond fine with dogs, but may get agitated when she sees dogs in the distance who she does not know.

Please give Fredrick a second look. His improvement has been astounding! Fredrick is 1 of 33 dogs rescued earlier this year after being confiscated from owners convicted of animal cruelty. All 33 improved beautifully. 26 of the 33 have been adopted! Fredrick is one of the final 7 awaiting loving, forever homes. Fredrick now enjoys sitting in laps and he loves going for walks. He no longer fears people, but instead smiles at them and leaps for joy if he hears the words "t reat" or "walk". He is a medium-size blend of many breeds (including Whippet, Beagle, Mini Bully, more), 3-4 years of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Hidalgo as a "lap dog" with Wayne, one of his caretakers Hidalgo gently grabs your hand if you forget to keep petting him. He likes to lean against the people he trusts and bonds with. Strangers worry him and he likes to have a few minutes to warm to new people before they move their hands quickly near his head. Hidalgo is a handsome, enormous Great Dane and he is good with other dogs (unconfirmed) and mature kids. He is 6 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption on Sunday, September 4, at 10am at Nevada SPCA. We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help.
