Trudy , an adventurous baby girl, enjoys pouncing on her mouse toys and playing hide & seek with people and cats.    She is a tuxedo kitten, 3 months of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Trudy has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since her rescue from homelessness.

Zane grins proudly and lifts up his chin when you tell him he's such a wonderful boy!  He treasures peaceful moments at your side and your approval means the world to him.  Zane is a Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund), 8 years of age and neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  He needed us because his previous owners' other dog kept attacking him.  Please share Zane's pictures to help him find a gentle forever home.

Glory kisses the cheeks of women who are very kind and gentle with her.    She is a Yorkshire Terrier mix, 4 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . We rescued Glory from another shelter where she was trembling. She is terrified of men and sometimes hides her face in their presence hoping they don't notice her. We do not know what Glory has endured.    She wants to believe in people and responds beautifully to soft, reassuring voices.

Echo loves giving gentle hugs.    This thoughtful, kind girl has an angelic temperament and she is great with cats and dogs too.    Echo is a unique blend of Akita & Anatolian Shepherd, 3 years of age and spayed, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    We rescued her from another shelter that ran out of space. Prior to Echo's transfer to Nevada SPCA, she was reportedly having trouble walking. Either a massive body trauma (such as being hit by a car) or a condition (such as Wobblers Syndrome) was suspected. But Echo no longer appears to have pain walking and the veterinarians suspect she was previously recovering from massive body trauma (unknown cause).

Gregory , a big teddy bear, glows with warmth and goodwill.  He loves being with people and knowing that he is accepted and appreciated.  Gregory is a Heinz 57 with Retriever & Shepherd, 5 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Gregory is compatible with many dogs, though fussy with some.  He is one of 33 animals we have rescued so far from a collapsed animal organization in northern Arizona.  Please visit and ask for Gregory by name.

Warren , 14, was found wandering and disoriented near a road.  He is enormously relieved to be safely indoors and receiving fresh food and water and other tender care.  Warren is a very gentle soul and he treasures every moment of kindness he spends with people. He is also good with other cats.  Warren is neutered and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Mary Ann is a gentle, thoughtful, golden-hearted young girl who appreciates every kind word and touch. She was found abandoned in the desert with no sign of responsible ownership. A man was able to capture her and bring her to safety. Mary Ann is a medium-size, blond Heinz 57 with a Corgi-like body and unique face. She is 1 year of age, good with other dogs, and now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Jules becomes very devoted to those who are kind to her and gives them hugs and high-fives.  She is a beautiful young spirit, an English Shepherd mix, 1 year of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs, and now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Jules needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Rescued and needing a foster home please! Beauty , just 7 or 8 weeks old, was found abandoned. The person(s) had tied her to a stop sign. Beauty is a gentle, affectionate baby girl, and compatible with other dogs. The foster commitment would be for approximately 4-6 weeks please (until she is old enough to be spayed). Wyatt was just surrendered because of his previous owner's family troubles. He is a Maltese & Shih-Tzu mix, shy and gentle. A calm, nurturing home environment is ideal for his socialization and continuing development.

Bonnie Buttons , 10, a thoughtful and endearing girl, needed us when her previous owner moved into assisted living (where dogs are not allowed).  She is blessed with a very pleasant personality and enjoys adults, older kids, and sweet dogs.  Bonnie Buttons is a Cockapoo, housetrained, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Prince Charming , 9, a 123-pound loverboy, would love to be your devoted companion and newest family member.  He is a kind blend of Great Dane, Hound, and Labrador Retriever, neutered, good with other large and friendly dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Prince Charming from another shelter.  Please help find him someone wonderful!

Sandra Dee , a darling junior puppy, is so bashful she tries to avoid making eye contact. She would rather lean her head against you and hider her face and hope you keep petting her. Sandra Dee is ready to bloom. With kindness and patience, she will continue building self-esteem and confidence, becoming a well-adjusted girl. Sandra Dee is a German Shepherd mix, 8 months of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.

Asher is a kind young boy and he is very grateful for every meal, gentle touch, and word of praise. He was found in emaciated, severely neglected condition with no sign of responsible ownership. Since then he has been on a premium meal plan with us and gaining weight, strength, body mass, and energy. This progress needs to continue in his forever home. Asher is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, 1 year of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Maggie Mae, 12, a gentle soul, asks for kindness and compassion.  She is a blond & cream Chihuahua mix, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Maggie Mae from another shelter that asked for our help.  There are rich emotional rewards that come with welcoming seniors and special needs animals into your life.

Justin is cuter than a teddy bear and as humble as can be. He is grateful for every kind word and touch.  Justin is housetrained, crate-trained, and compatible with cats, dogs, and kids.  He is a Pomeranian, 6 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Justin needed us when his previous owner gave him with a friend who was unable to keep him.

Sheri and her two sisters were just rescued from under a home and need a foster parent please. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lani. Sheri and her sisters are about 6 weeks of age. All three are sweet and happy to accept kindness. They were in distress and there was no sign of their mother. Billie Jean loves with all of her heart once she decides that someone intends her goodwill and kindness.  She is a beautiful spirit, an orange & white tabby with captivating eyes, 3 years young, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in the Treehouse Playroom.  Billie Jean is fond of other cats and likes the coziest napping spots.

Snowman so badly wants to be loved and accepted.  He crawls up to you slowly, looking deep in your eyes to see if you intend him any harm, then licks your hand when he realizes you are kind.  Snowman is a young, very attractive American Bulldog mix, neutered boy, 1 year of age, reportedly compatible with older kids and some dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We believe he has been screamed and yelled at, and perhaps been the victim of physical abuse too.  But with all of his heart, Snowman wants to believe in people again.  Will you help us find someone who will make a lifelong commitment to him and show him only the best of human nature?
