Inspiring adoption update on Lizzy (now Littles)!

Image
Thank you Angel & Dan, Lizzy's new parents, for sharing these pictures and details: "We have been calling her Littles - because she's just so darn tiny - and she has settled right in with her new family! She's very sweet, loves her fur-brothers and sisters and wants nothing more than to be on your lap or sleeping under the covers with us. She loves her belly rubbed for sure! We just wanted you to know that this little girl is happy and we are lucky to have her in our lives!"

Terrific adoption update on Monarch (now Rocko Balboa)!

Image
Thank you very much to Monarch's new mom, Antoinette, for these pictures and details: "On February 9th, I adopted Monarch. His new name is Rocko Balboa and he is doing amazing. He quickly snuggled his way into my heart, and my dog Peanuts heart, as well as my entire family. He loves to follow his brother around and when I can't find him, he is usually snuggled up under the blankets on the couch or my bed. He has adjusted to walking on his leash and we are currently learning how to fetch (he usually ends up just running after his brother instead of the toys). Thank you so much for taking care of all of the animals, especially the ones that need it the most."

Great adoption update on Peggy (now Cutie)!

Image
Thank you to Nicole, Peggy's new mom, for this collage and praise for her: "On May 23, 2016, my boyfriend and I adopted Peggy, now known as Cutie. She quickly became family. She has the best personality, she's a comedian. I have shared her story where I work and she has a small fan club. I love her and she has bonded with me. She cries when she sees me when I first get home from work. She puts her ears back in a sweet nature and smiles. She's a great girl, she's very devoted. She's so loved!"

Inspiring adoption update on Gandhi (now Dov)!

Image
Inspiring update on Gandhi (now Dov ), an adopted Rottweiler with special needs! Thank you to Hannah, his devoted mom, for the great news and recent pictures: "Dov is as sweet as they come, he's been challenging because he probably had many prior homes, but he's a great friend to my 16 1/2 year old senior girl dog, and just craves love, pets, and oh yes: FOOD! :) Five months in, he's a member of the family now for sure." "He wears these adorable wraps when indoors, because he has occasional incontinence issues. A wonderful Nevada SPCA volunteer made them for us and they have been a godsend. He is 90% outdoor potty trained now, these just prevent the accident here or there." "Cutest behavior: he absolutely loves Zuke's training treats. Each evening before bed, we go out and they get one Zuke's and then he knows he gets another after he goes potty. He looks back at me while he goes, like "I'...

Inspiring adoption update on 15-year-old Cassandra!

Image
Thank you to Bob, Cassandra's dad, for this great update: "I adopted my sweet Sassie Girl (formerly Cassandra) in July of 2015 at the age of 13 years. She fits right in and she is the sweetest girl. She doesn't have a care in the world, nor should she. I'm making sure she is loved, happy, and content. Seniors Rock!!"

Inspiring update on Richard!

Image
Inspiring update we want to share with you! Richard's new dad, Jeremy, sent this picture and reports: " Richard is settling in great and receiving more love than I think he knows what to do with. He's already found his favorite place to hang out in the backyard (under my tree) and in the house (my bed)." Jeremy also says Richard is enjoying long walks and showing love and affection. Richard is still flinching when he hears loud noises, but Jeremy says they will work through this with positive encouragement and comfort. Richard is one of the Majestic Brothers. More details on his rescue here.
