Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Bessie's extra toes help her give even sweeter hugs.  She is an adorable baby girl rescued from a warehouse, found there all alone with no sign of her mom or siblings, when just a few weeks of age.  We placed Bessie in a wonderful foster home for tender loving care and socialization.  Bessie is now 3 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is polydactyl (extra toes) on all four paws.  Please ask for Bessie by name when you visit. 

Llewellyn & Magpie are stunningly beautiful girls with a very gentle, peaceful presence.  They are Dutch mix bunnies, about 3 years of age, presumed to be sisters, and now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Llewellyn & Magpie needed us when their previous owner died and they had nowhere to go.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this remarkable portrait to help the girls find a loving, forever home together.

Mystery is an exceptionally engaging young girl who loves chatting with you and looking in your eyes.  She is a gorgeous Lynx Point Siamese mix, 2 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  One of our volunteers found Mystery stuffed in a cage with four other cats alongside a dumpster.  (All five survived and are becoming available for adoption as they are spayed/neutered.)  Mystery is an incredible treasure and she has enormous unconditional love to share with you.

Talbot has a colorful, gentle personality and enormous charm.  He is a Dwarf mix bunny, 18 months young, now neutered and ready for a loving, forever home.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these wonderful portraits.  Nevada SPCA has Talbot and several other rescued, small animals for adoption off-site in At Your Service Pet Supplies & Grooming in Henderson (55 S. Checkers is a young girl with regal good looks, but the most beautiful thing about her is her down-to-earth and snuggly personality.  She is a black, smoke & white medium-hair, 18 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Checkers enjoys other cats and pounces on her toys for fun.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing her spirit so exceptionally in these portraits to help her find a loving, forever home.

Johnny needed us when his previous owner passed away and he had nowhere to go.  He loves being in your lap and being held in your arms.  Johnny is a very attractive and kind orange tabby & white shorthair with bright eyes, about 5 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Johnny loves other cats too and will snuggle with them during his afternoon catnaps.

Doodlebug is an energetic baby boy who loves playing with other cats and kittens.  He is about 7 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Doodlebug's right ear folds backward (birth defect) but the rest of his ear seems to function normally.  Doodlebug enjoys squeaky toys and hopes you will give him lots of quality time daily.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Bayview is beautiful inside and out, a young girl who likes to watch you carefully to better understand you. She is a gorgeous torbie tabby (brown & cream & white) shorthair with golden eyes, 1 year of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Bayview needed us when her previous owners moved and opted not to take her. She gets along well with other cats and relishes chasing the laser light.

Dozy's eyes are captivating and this young girl has stolen our hearts. We cannot understand why her previous owner was making her live outdoors, day and night, rather than indoors as a cherished member of the family. Dozy is a beautiful Yorkshire Terrier mix, about 3 years young, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Dozy is loving and friendly and compatible with other dogs.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming for her.

Ethel's grace has been captured extraordinarily well in this brand new portrait from Pet'ographique .  Ethel has a beautiful, affectionate spirit and she delights in cuddling with you.  She is a shorthair brown tabby with jewel-like eyes, 2 years young, spayed, compatible with other cats, and ready for adoption in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms at Nevada SPCA.

Kandi is an adorable little bundle of dynamite, a spunky baby girl with no shortage of energy and playfulness.  Kandi is an 8-month-old kitten with stunning tortoiseshell coloring and a cream nose blaze, spayed, good with other cats, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Kandi was rescued from the mean streets.  Please be committed to keeping her strictly indoors, safe and secure, as a cherished member of the family.

Hyacinth's affection for people is illustrated well in how she likes to follow you, hopping from room to room.  (Please use baby gates to keep her away from electrical cords.) Hyacinth is a beautiful young Mini Rex with the softest coat and sweetest personality.  She is now spayed, about 18 months of age, and ready for adoption in Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room. Donnie promises a lifetime of entertainment and tremendous companionship in exchange for adoption into a loving, forever home.  He is an outgoing, playful kitten who adores people and cats.  Donnie has princely good looks, as he is a black & white medium-hair with wisps of charcoal grey on his mane and tail.  Donnie is 9 months of age, neutered, and ready for adoption in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms at Nevada SPCA.

Katlyn, momma Chloe, Clarissa, and Crystal, sisters Clark and Carter, brothers Katlyn and her babies have been in a loving foster home for 10 weeks preparing for this special day -- their adoption debut day. Katlyn's previous owner said "she keeps getting out and getting pregnant".  At the time of rescue Katlyn's five kittens were just newborns, about 2 weeks old, and their eyes were still closed. The kittens were in delicate health and Katlyn was traumatized.  We rushed them into foster care and within days their foster mom succeeded in winning Katlyn's trust and the kittens were stable. Things are looking up for Barbara .  Her previous owner passed away and the surviving family chose not to keep her.  But Pet'ographique has just taken this gorgeous new portrait to help her attract someone kind and compassionate.  Barbara loves to be in your lap.  She is a long-hair torbie tabby, about 4 years of age, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

After being abandoned, Corky pleaded for food from house to house throughout his neighborhood, relying on the kindness of strangers to stay alive.   Now, this handsome, distinguished boy is safe with us and never having to worry whether he will miss a meal.  Pet'ographique captured his sweet spirit wonderfully in this brand new portrait.    Corky is neutered, about 8 years of age, great with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Dollar would love to be your gentle "lap cat".  Her mousy good looks are matched by her exceptionally sweet temperament.  Dollar is a Tortoiseshell, just one year of age, spayed girl, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Rescued from a yard sale box with her three kittens ( Penny , Nickle , and Dime , who will be ready for adoption in the weeks to come once spayed/neutered too), Dollar offer priceless, unconditional devotion to the person who adopts her and makes a lifetime commitment to her care.

Betty Bubbles is a light-hearted, dainty, and petite girl when it comes to soaking up affection from you.  But when it's time to patrol the house (or engage in adventurous play-time), she is all serious business and courageous as she undertakes her missions and explores rooms for intruders.  Betty Bubbles is a shorthair beauty, about 4 years of age, spayed, great with other cats, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued this sweetheart from another shelter.

Adams & Van Buren are baby brothers who would like to stay together for lifelong companionship.  Guinea pigs are social animals and find tremendous joy and peace-of-mind with others of their kind, generally speaking.  Adams & Van Buren are cute boys, about 5 months of age, and very enthusiastic for their daily salad greens.  Please ask for the brothers by name in Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room. The boys needed rescue when they were reportedly purchased by a previous owner to be family pets, but it turned out a child was allergic to them.

Sizzling Sammy loves to chat with you, follow you around, and rub against your legs.  Watching "Cat TV" -- observing the birds through the window -- gives him enormous pleasure.  He is a big, cuddly brown tabby, 6 years of age, neutered, ready to fill your heart with love.  Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask to meet Sizzling Sammy by name.
