Melony is a darling junior puppy with a hazel eye and a blue eye (heterochromia).    Tell her she's a sweetheart and she will look at you in surprise, then begin wagging her tail. Melony is a small, blond blend of many breeds, 8 months of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She was surrendered by her previous owner who refused to share any background information.    We'd love to find a home for Melony where she will be dearly cherished and showered with adoration every day.

Linus is a spirited baby boy who delights in playing with people, cats, and shoelaces.  He is a kitten with a pink nose, a blue eye and a hazel eye, 4 months of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Since his rescue from the streets he has been lovingly raised and socialized in a nurturing foster home. Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Jasmine is a thoughtful junior puppy politely asking for your consideration. She needs someone she can love and count on forever.  Jasmine is a Siberian Husky & Shepherd mix with heterochromia (blue eye and dark eye), 9 months of age, good with other dogs (but she may be too robust for some dogs), and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  She was surrendered due to her previous owner's difficulty in training a puppy.

Samurai , saved from peril and now beaming with joy, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    He is a fun-loving junior puppy, a Siberian Husky with heterochromia (blue eye and brown eye), 8 months young, neutered, and good with other large dogs. At the time of rescue Samurai was ill with parvo virus. We rushed him to an animal hospital for emergency care. Thanks to generous donors who made his extensive treatment possible, Samurai recovered beautifully.

Elizabeth , saved from peril, now feels so good she can't stop kissing people and playing with her toys! This darling baby girl needs a foster home please for approximately 2 weeks (until she can be spayed). If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lani. Elizabeth was in danger of succumbing to the parvo virus at the time of rescue. She was surrendered to us and we rushed her into emergency treatment at a veterinary hospital. Thanks to extensive care made possible by generous donations, she made a beautiful recovery. ( Elizabeth cannot be around dogs who are not up-to-date on vaccines.) Elizabeth is believed to be a Siberian Husky and Retriever mix, 3 months of age.

Briggs loves running on treadmills and learning good manners!  He is thriving with his enrichment training and enjoying the progress he makes with each training session.  Please give this unique boy renewed consideration!  Briggs is a Heinz 57 with Boxer & Retriever, 9 years of age and neutered, sporty and friendly, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA . He has heterochromia (blue eye and brown eye) and needs a one-dog-only household please.

Allie loves devoting herself to those who are kind and caring to her. She gives doggie kisses in gratitude.  Allie is a beautiful Siberian Husky with heterochromia (blue eye & brown eye), 4 years of age and spayed, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help because she cannot be around other animals.

Tank , full of vitality and kindness, is a young boy eager to love and be loved.  He is a Siberian Husky & Labrador mix, 2 years of age and neutered, good with cats & dogs & kids, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Tank needed us due to his previous owners' housing problems.

Rascal hugs your arm when he crawls into your lap.  When he knows he is adored, his spirits soar!  Rascal is a vibrant young boy, a blend of Aussie & German Shepherd, 3 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He was at another shelter that ran out of space.  Please visit and ask for Rascal by name.

Quinn , young at heart at 9 years of age, is blessed with a radiant smile and spirit.  He is a handsome Queensland Heeler & Siberian Husky mix, neutered, housetrained, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Quinn is good with large dogs, but cannot be around small dogs or other small animals.  We rescued him from another shelter that ran out of space for him.  Please visit and ask for Quinn by name.

Rani , a beautiful spirit, healing and building confidence, is ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . She is a snow-white shorthair with a grey crown and hypnotic eyes (heterochromia), 6 years of age and spayed, and good with other cats.  Rani loves catnip, lounging in laps, and napping in baskets. She was found abandoned outdoors with minor injuries, including a cut on her nose.  Please visit and ask for Rani by name.

Harlequin , a well-behaved young girl, needs someone to dearly love.  She is a cream & white Terrier mix, 1 year of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats & dogs & kids, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Harlequin's double blue sunburst in her right eye does not impair her vision.

Sophia hopes you will let her give you doggie kisses for being sweet.  She loves with all of her heart and finds goodness in every person and dog.  Sophia is a Border Collie & Corgi mix (long body and short legs), 4 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  She needed us when her previous owner passed away.

Orion , a bright youngster recovering from starvation, is eager to conquer the world!  He is not much interested in following rules or learning good behaviors, so an experienced home is needed to help kindly guide his bursting energy and enthusiasm into good behaviors.  Orion is a Siberian Husky with stunning heterochromia in both eyes, 2 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Orion was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his strong-willed personality and need to continue gaining weight.

Blue , a handsome and friendly youngster, asks for your consideration.  He is a Boxer with heterochromia (brown eye and blue eye), 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Blue is good with kids and likes other dogs (as long as they don't jump on him). He is housetrained too.  Blue needed us due to his previous owner's personal hardships.  Please visit and ask for him by name.

Ozzy is irresistible, especially when he's dancing, prancing, and wiggling! He is a handsome Australian Shepherd, 3 years of age and neutered, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Ozzy needed us when his previous family moved away without him. We were surprised and heartbroken to discover his fear of long hand-held objects. Ozzy is all smiles and joy with his caretakers, but when he sees them holding a mop or broom he screams loudly and fearfully. Please help us find Ozzy a peaceful, stable home where he will be treasured forever.

Angelisa , desperate for kindness and a sense of belonging, longs to hear praise. She is a gorgeous, young Siberian Husky & White Shepherd mix, 3 years of age and spayed, good with other large dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Angelisa from another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.

Francois needs someone to love and adore.  He is a handsome American Eskimo Dog with heterochromia (blue eye & brown eye), 9 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Francois is housetrained and good with kids and dogs (his size and larger).  He needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.

Aslan's glowing smile reveals his hope to finally know what being loved feels like. We tell him the lonely, bleak days are over and he gives us this smile. Aslan , an Australian Shepherd with a lion-like mane (inspiring his Chronicles of Narnia name), is 8 years of age, a neutered boy, gentle with people of all ages, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He is recovering from extreme neglect. Fed human food and forever stuck in a backyard, he ballooned to almost 90 pounds of obesity. We don't believe he was brushed, until the day he arrived at the shelter, and Aslan patiently let us cut out the knots and save as much of his coat as we could. Aslan wants people to be happy with him. We believe he will adjust quickly to a loving home if you are patient and give him kind guidance and understanding.

Bagheera , 10, a polite and friendly Cocker Spaniel, needs someone to love.  He needed us because of his previous owner's dementia.  Bagheera has a blue eye and a brown eye (heterochromia) and he is good with cats and dogs, plus crate-trained too.  He is now neutered and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
