Keesha , a young girl with a heart of gold, smiles when she feels safe and secure.  She is a beautiful spirit, a Siberian Husky & Shepherd mix with gold & hickory coloring, 3 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs (but small dogs unknown), and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Keesha was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her trembling in fear. We matched her with a confident kennel-mate, a friend, and she promptly felt more at ease.

Phoenix , a young boy with a heart of gold, politely asks for your consideration.  He is a Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund), 1 year of age, housetrained, good with dogs, and now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Christmas Eve at Nevada SPCA .  Phoenix needed us when his previous owners moved away without him. Charlie is a well-behaved, handsome youngster with a heart of gold.  He is housetrained and compatible with cats, children, and dogs.  Charlie is a Heinz 57 with Plott Hound and his tiger brindle coloration is stunning. He is 1 year of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Rodney , a Chocolate Labrador Retriever with a heart of gold, is an exuberant, friendly, and good-natured boy.  He is 4 years of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Rodney likes other dogs, as long as they don't try to dominate him.

Ashly would love to be your very own little tiger. He has a heart of gold and amiable personality. Ashly is a large boy with majestic coloration, perhaps a Bengal or Spangled mix, 9 years of age, previously declawed (front paws), good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Zoe , a social baby girl who dearly loves bonding with people and dogs, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. She is another of Lilly's babies and she has been raised in a wonderful foster home since her rescue. (You may recall Lilly and her 9 newborns rescued in January from a man who was threatening to shoot them.) Lilly, her mother, and her siblings will be ready for adoption too in the days and weeks to come. Lilly is a medium-size blend of many breeds. Zoe's father is unknown. Original post about Lilly and her babies . Zoe was formerly named Magnolia, and her gold coloration has emerged even more in the weeks since the rescue.

Ginger shines when she knows you are happy with her. The victim of abuse, she deeply worries that strangers may disapprove of her and intend harm. Ginger has enormous loving potential and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She is a German Shepherd mix, blended with many other breeds, 3 years young and spayed.    We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help and don't know yet whether she is compatible with other dogs.    Please help find a peaceful, stable forever home for Ginger .

Zoey is a shy young girl trying to hard to understand. She just wants someone to love. Zoey is a beautiful blend of breeds, likely including Rhodesian Ridgeback, just under 2 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She is housetrained and crate-trained and compatible with some dogs and older kids.    Zoey needed us when her previous owners moved away for a family emergency.

Luna , a remarkably cute junior puppy, loves bonding with people and dogs.   She is a playful Golden Retriever, 9 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard carefully for her safety.  Luna is housetrained and crate-trained.  She is so social that we strongly prefer adopting her to a home where she will have another dog for constant companionship.  Luna needed us when her previous owners divorced.

Shakespeare needs to know what a loving home feels like.  He is 11 years of age, feeling lost and unsure.  Shakespeare was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his extreme neglect, which included ear infections and patches of missing hair due to malnutrition.  Shakespeare has been recovering with us for one month, making steady improvement, and he is ready to debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Labrador Retriever mix, neutered, and good with other dogs.  Please help find him a wonderful, patient home.

Toto , 11 years of age, 3 legs, and a heart of gold. Toto is a wise, good-natured Jack Russell Terrier mix debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is housetrained and compatible with dogs and older kids.  We rescued Toto from another shelter.  He lost his hind left leg years ago (reason unknown) and we removed a lump from his hind right leg.  Please help find Toto a stable, loving forever home where he will be dearly cherished.

In mid-August, Vivian was pregnant and abandoned.  A volunteer found her tied to a tree without food, water, or a blanket.  We put out an immediate plea on social media for a foster hero, and thanks to you sharing her post, it succeeded.  Vivian was in labor as the foster parent arrived and over the following hours gave birth to 6 babies.  Since then Vivian has raised her puppies in a loving home environment.  She is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).  (Her puppies will be ready in the days/weeks to come.)  Vivian is an endearing, friendly small Bully mix, 2 years of age.  Please help her find a responsible home so that she never has to experience rejection and abandonment again.

Hanson is an inquisitive boy with a heart of gold and he watches you closely to learn your behaviors, wishes, and priorities.  He wants the peace-of-mind that comes with knowing you 'belong' with those around you.  Hanson is an attractive Jack Russell Terrier mix, 10 years of age, neutered, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing his spirit in this handsome portrait.

Magellan is a thoughtful young boy and he must wonder why life has been harsh and unjust to someone so kind.  At the time of rescue he was at another shelter and suffering from an ear infection.  Magellan is now well and we hope he soon realizes that he is safe and can expect a bright, loving future.  He is a good-looking Tibetan Terrier mix, 2 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Magellan enjoys other dogs and needs regular professional grooming.  A gentle, stable home is ideal for this bashful boy.

Please help us find a hero for Otis .  He is a gentle old boy with a heart of gold and distraught that he became homeless on the streets.  Otis is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, about 10 years of age, neutered, and ready for a relaxed, leisurely lifestyle.  His vision is substantially reduced in both eyes due to cataracts, but he gets around well in familiar spaces and can see large shapes.  We rescued Otis from another shelter and he yearns to be loved and feel peace-of-mind, knowing that he belongs in a home.
