Mustang , still so puppy-like at 1 year of age, thinks leashes are toys. So when we attempt to put him on leash, he perceives we are playing ball and tries to "catch" it.  But Mustang is eager to please and a quick learner, therefore, kind guidance in an experienced home will help him with leash training and other good behaviors.  Mustang is a vibrant youngster, a Bully mix with gold eyes, neutered, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He is compatible with other dogs, as long as meals and treats are fed separately.  Mustang was witnessed being abandoned at a veterinary hospital (his previous owner walked in a lobby with him, dropped the leash on the floor, and bolted).  Mustang deserves better and he is ready to love you forever.

Galant pleads for someone to love.  He cannot understand why he loses the people he gives his whole heart too. Galant fears every goodbye is forever, so he is distraught to see you leaving the house.  There is no instant fix for separation anxiety, but there are many small steps (including crate-training) that can be taken to diminish his anguish with time and patience, as he comes to realize you will never fail him.  Galant is a handsome German shepherd mix with golden eyes, 3 years young and neutered, and debuting for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .  He was at another shelter that asked for our help.  It appears Galant needs a one-dog household please.

Victoria , the most adorable lovebug, enjoys giving people doggie kisses. We suspect she was surrendered perhaps to save her from an angry and potentially violent child. Her previous owner cited "niece doesn't like her looks" as the reason for the surrender and the child was inexplicably glaring at Victoria with severe disdain while her aunt turned her into the shelter. Victoria could not be any cuter! She is a Toy & Terrier mix, 1 year young, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Sinatra , a junior kitten with quiet charm, wants you to pet him before he eats his meals and treats.  He is a polite boy, 10 months of age, a blue-grey & white shorthair with gold eyes, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Sinatra loves playing in toy tunnels.  He may do best as the only cat in the home.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Jackie , a very cautious and perceptive explorer, walks gracefully forwards and backwards when adventuring into new rooms and investigating.  She is good with cats and dogs, but needed us because the cats in her previous home were bullying her.  Jackie is a beautiful young spirit, a silver & white shorthair with gold eyes, 1 year of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Zabrina is a majestic young adult who turns into a young kitten again every time she detects catnip on her toys, blankets, or scratching posts. She rolls on her back, purring heartily from side to side, lost in euphoria. Zabrina is a leonine, blue & cream & white (dilute calico) medium-hair, 3 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    She was found abandoned on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

O'Dell is a zany-fun boy with a comical temperament.    He is a golden-eyed Bully mix, chocolate & white, 4 years of age, neutered, compatible with some female dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    O'Dell was at another shelter that asked for our help due to running out of space for him. O'Dell reportedly missed meals in a previous home and experienced desperate hunger. Understandably, food is very serious to him. We strongly recommend a very steady meal and treat schedule so he never has to fear going hungry again. Also, due to his intensity with food, he requires a home without young children. Sandy likes playing fetch with small toys and hopes you will throw the objects in different directions to keep her game interesting. She is a golden-eyed, pink-nosed orange tabby & white youngster, lovely girl, spayed, 3 years of age, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Sandy was left behind in a vacated apartment and the manager of the complex heard her cries of distress.

Yusef likes to follow you around the room and loyally help you with any activities.  He is offering to be your valued family member and devoted assistant in exchange for a stable, indoor-only, loving forever home.  Yusef is a handsome, golden-eyed orange tabby, 6 years of age, neutered, and good with other friendly cats, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Max is so calm and self-assured he puts other cats and kittens at ease. He likes to hold them, groom them, and nap at their sides. This paternal/maternal young boy would love to have a home with another cat (or multiple cats). Max is a medium-hair orange tabby with gold eyes, 2 years young and neutered, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He needed us after he was found abandoned with no sign of responsible ownership.

Rajah is a regal boy who enjoys resting in your lap and being brushed.  He is socialized with cats, dogs, and kids.  Rajah likes napping near windows, soaking up sun-rays.  He is an orange-blond & white medium-hair, 7 years of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Rajah was surrendered due to his previous family members' allergies.  Please visit and ask for him by name.

Bay, just 8 months of age, worries that people don't like her.  We are working on helping her build self-esteem so she will understand she is worthy of love.  Bay is a junior puppy, medium-size Heinz 57 with Beagle & Mini Bully, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Bay from another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.

Mathieu , an endearing and bashful junior puppy, yearns for your approval. Kind words of encouragement are very important to him. Mathieu is a handsome, medium-size Heinz 57 with Retriever & Ridgeback (including golden eyes, long body and curly-Q tail), 8 months of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He is housetrained and compatible with cats, dogs, and older kids.    Mathieu needed us due to his previous owner's relocation.    Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Cody worries he is displeasing and unwanted. But when you reassure him that he is wonderful and a good boy, he breaks out a warm smile and his eyes sparkle. Cody is a young Yellow Labrador Retriever debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is housetrained and good with other dogs.    Cody was at another shelter that asked for our help because of the abuse he experienced in a previous home.    We believe gentle voices and a very steady lifestyle routine will help him continue improving and reaching his full potential.

Lisa is a luminous youngster who shines when she feels secure.  She is a beautiful, medium-size (32 pounds) blend of many breeds, 3 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Lisa was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.  She likes other dogs, but may get jealous if she fears they are stealing away all of your attention.  We believe Lisa will thrive wonderfully in an experienced home where she can continue blooming.

We hope Zachary never loses his puppy-like innocence and wonder for the world.  He is a small Siberian Husky mix with latte coloration and gold eyes, 1 year young, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Zachary loves people, but he is particular about other dogs.  We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help. He needs to remain on a premium diet without dyes or fillers that could irritate his sensitive skin.
