Marlin , 14, an earnest and gentle soul, is recovering from heartbreak. (He was found abandoned in a crate in a parking lot without food or water.) Marlin likes chin and shoulder scratches. Fergie , 12, a gentle girl best suited for a leisurely lifestyle, favors tender moments sitting by you, short walks, and lots of cuddling.  She is a Labrador Retriever mix, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Fergie was abandoned by her previous owner and brought to the shelter by a neighbor/friend.  Please help find her a stable, responsible home for her golden years.

Raja , 15, a gentle soul, purrs sweet you talk softly and sweetly to her.  She is a British Shorthair, spayed, good with other easy-going cats, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  We rescued Raja from another shelter and she was reportedly confiscated from her previous home (for an unknown reason).  Please help find this sweetheart a hero.

Lancelot , 17, a gentle soul, pleads for someone kind for his twilight years.  He is a lynx point Siamese, neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Lancelot was found on the streets, malnourished and disoriented. Darwin , 18, a docile and gentle angel, loves hearing you talk sweet with hope in your voice.  He cherishes peaceful moments with familiar people and asks for a hero for his twilight years.  Darwin is a tabby, neutered boy, good with other cats, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Nui , 13, a gentle soul with one eye and an injured nose (being treated), asks for a hero and debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Nui is a Pekingese and he is housetrained, neutered, and compatible with other calm dogs.  He needed us when his previous owner moved to Hawaii. Nui's missing eye is a mystery, but he seems to have adjusted to it long ago. Also, we expect his nose wound to fully heal.

Lorelei , 14, a gentle soul, politely and humbly asks for consideration.    Her previous owner turned her into another shelter (for reasons unknown) and she needs a loving home. "Will loving you heal my broken heart?" Nina , 10, so gentle and humble, just wants someone who will treasure and appreciate her.    She is a very petite Chihuahua, good with cats & dogs & mature kids, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Nina needed us when her previous owner moved away without her.

Jameson , 10, a gentle soul, wants to be your baby and to love you dearly.  He is exceptionally kind and compatible with kids, cats, and dogs.  Jameson is a chocolate & cream Miniature Pinscher & Chihuahua mix, neutered boy, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Most of his teeth are gone, so please feed him meals and treats that are soft enough for him to safely enjoy.

Melinda , 12, a gentle soul, is adjusting to life with one eye.    (We rescued her from another shelter and her right eye was maimed beyond repair.) Lori , 9, loves cuddling and snuggling.    Tell her she's your "lap dog" and she will lean her head against your chest. Sofia , 12, was on the streets and so matted and dirty we suspect she had been fending for herself or in an extremely neglectful home for quite some time.    Despite whatever she endured, Sofia likes people and wants affectionate and reassurance. She is a sweetheart Poodle mix, spayed and good with dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.   Please help find her a hero.

Holly , 13, a gentle soul, asks for a hero. Her previous owner passed away and she needs someone to love. Holly is a Weimaraner and she is good with other dogs. We were unable to learn anything further about her background. Holly shines with people and accepts kindness and friendship with ease. Please help find someone wonderful for her. Lexi , a petite young girl, likes hiding under blankets. Once she knows you are sitting down and the room is peaceful, she carefully emerges and crawls into your lap for cuddling. Lexi is a beautiful tiger tabby, 1 year of age, good with other cats, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Looking upward is a big step for Stanley . He is so bashful and afraid of people that he holds his head low and stares at the ground hoping that nobody notices him. Stanley was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his trembling and hiding in the corner. We placed him in a kennel with a confident dog for friendship and guidance, resulting in some immediate improvement. Stanley is a small Terrier mix with a gentle soul. He is 4 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Rockefeller is a solemn Maltese mix longing to know what being loved feels like. He was found on the streets, close to a freeway, in poor and neglected condition. Rockefeller is now groomed, neutered, chipped, up-to-date on shots, eating premium food, and healing well from dental care. Rockefeller is gentle, 6 years of age, good with other sweet dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Paula is adjusting to life on three legs, but emotionally, her recovery from domestic violence will take much longer. This very gentle girl was at another shelter that asked for our help. Her hind left leg was so badly broken beyond repair that it had to be amputated. Paula longs for peace-of-mind and asks for a gentle owner who will always keep her safe. Alexander , 13, a Pug & Spaniel mix, is a thoughtful boy who treasures the kind moments with people he adores.
