Blake wants to believe in people and he beams when he knows the person he is with is kind and approving. He is an exceptionally cute Chihuahua mix, 1 year young and neutered, good with other dogs, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Lola is forlorn, homeless at 10 years of age for reasons she cannot understand (her previous owners' financial hardship), but her eyes light up and sparkle when you tell her how sweet she is.  She is a dainty Jack Russell Terrier & Chihuahua mix, spayed girl, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and mature kids, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Tea Cup , a 3-pound angel, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Chihuahua, 1 year young, spayed, crate-trained, and good with other dogs.  Tea Cup's favorite thing is snuggling in your arms.  Her previous owners cited their advanced age as the reason for her surrender.  Please be sure to take thorough safety precautions for her in your home and yard due to her size.

Antonio is a sensitive youngster yearning for stability and peace-of-mind.  He is a Yorkshire Terrier & Silky Terrier mix, 3 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Antonio is good with other dogs and best suited for a home with a big sister or brother dog.  He was surrendered by his previous owner due to separation anxiety.  Antonio fears every goodbye is forever.  There is no instant fix for separation anxiety, but he will improve with time and a very steady lifestyle routine he can always count on (plus there are some other things we can discuss with you that may be helpful, including thundershirts).  Please help find a hero for Antonio , someone who will never fail him.

Penelope is a tiny, 8-pound lovebug with enormous unconditional love to share.  She is a Longhair Chihuahua, about 7 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Penelope enjoys other sweet dogs.  She copes well with a birth defect to her hind left leg.  Penelope cannot walk on the leg and it does not cause her pain.  She uses her leg occasionally for leaning and sitting, so her veterinarian recommended against amputation.  Please help us find her a gentle forever home.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these beautiful portraits for Penelope .

Beau is dreaming of a hero and he is eager to share his unconditional devotion.  He is a "Chug" (Chihuahua & Pug mix), 10 years of age, neutered, housetrained, crate-trained, compatible with cats & dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).  Beau is mostly blind, so a stable home environment and lifestyle will help him thrive.  He needed us when his previous owner passed away.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing his remarkably sweet spirit in these brand new portraits.

Rosie doesn't understand about money and financial hardship, so losing her previous home has confused her and turned her world upside down.  Rosie is a humble, gentle older girl with a very kind spirit and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Lhasa Apso mix, now shaved to get rid of all of the mats and knots in her neglected coat, 11 years of age and spayed.  Rosie is good with other dogs and reportedly housetrained.  She asks only for love and dignity for her twilight years.  Please help us find Rosie a hero.

Chloe is a bashful little lady who worries how she is supposed to fit into this crazy world.  She shines though with gentle, soft-spoken people and her self-esteem will continue to build beautifully in a stable, loving home environment.  Chloe is a beautiful, petite Miniature Pinscher, about 5 years of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Chloe's nose and jaw lean right (likely from birth) and function normally.  We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help because she was so shy.

Please help us find Angelina a hero.  She is a 12-year-old sweetheart whose previous owner died.  She was devoted to him, but her emotional distress extends beyond heartbreak to reports that other family/household members "hated her" and would kick her to get her out of their way.  (We are sharing all information with authorities.)  Angelina is understandably terrified of strangers, unable to walk on a leash without panicking, and scared in new situations that violence will again come her way.  But soft-spoken and gentle volunteers and staff are making good progress with her.  Angelina wants so much to trust again, so there is no question she will continue blooming in the right home environment.  Angelina is a very petite, golden Chihuahua mix, spayed, and great with other calm dogs.

Bubblegum is a 13-year-old angel we rescued from another shelter.  She was reportedly surrendered there by her previous owners because they were moving away without her.  Bubblegum is a very gentle, bashful "Chug" (Chihuahua & Pug mix) with a cute underbite and expressive eyes, a spayed girl who is best suited for a calm home environment.  Bubblegum gets along well with other sweet dogs.  Please help us find her a hero for her twilight years.

Lauren is a precious Maltese mix puppy who we believe would benefit from having a big brother dog or big sister dog to help her adjust and feel like a valued member of the "pack"/family.  She is shy, but her loving potential is enormous.  Lauren is approximately 10 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Lauren just in the nick of time from another shelter where she did not qualify for adoption due to being timid.  But love, stability, and kindness in an experienced home will have Lauren blooming beautifully.

Mena is a petite, captivating girl with soft blue eyes and she is now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  A gentle home is best for her, indoors-only, of course.  Mena's previous owner kept her outdoors and she was so neglected that besides all of the grime and dirt in her coat, two of her claws had grown so long they had circled and torn into her paws.  When they dumped her they brought her in a shabby box that she quickly escaped from, and then she hid under a dumpster, terrified.  Mena is a gorgeous Tortie Point Siamese, about 6 years of age, spayed, and best-suited for a calm lifestyle.

As you can see, Hugs has a broken heart.  He cannot comprehend why he is homeless after giving 9 years of unconditional love.  His world no longer makes sense.  Volunteers are working to restore joy in his spirit, but his progress will really improve once he is in a stable, loving home environment.  Hugs is a handsome Corgi mix, neutered boy, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is used to going walking and rollerblading with older kids and he is fine with most dogs.  Please help us find Hugs an amazing new home where his soul will soon be revived.

Lucinda is a tender-hearted pup debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  With gentle reassurance, building self-esteem in a stable and compassionate home, she will bloom beautifully.  The world seems like a pretty scary place to Lucinda .  She was rescued near a very busy Las Vegas intersection.  Lucinda is a dainty, pretty Chihuahua, 10 months of age, now spayed, and good with other calm and sweet dogs.  Please help us find her a forever home where she can reach her full loving potential.
