Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Sammy's favorite things include playing hide & seek in empty boxes, lounging in his hammocks, and studying the faces of the people who hold him.  He is a friendly and engaging youngster, a sable ferret, 2 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Sammy needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Jack Jasper Jack and Jasper are inquisitive young brothers who relish finding and hiding seeds, toys, and treats.  They are just 6 months of age, Golden hamsters, ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA.  Both are friendly with people and allow handling.  We rescued the boys (and 8 other hamsters and 55 more animals) from another shelter that asked for our help after they were seized from an animal center last week.  Please share the pictures of Jack and Jasper to help find them responsible, forever homes where they will be respected, appreciated, and cherished.

Duke of Earl , a 6-pound sweetheart, earnest boy, wonders if you will please give him consideration.  He is a young and very friendly Chihuahua, 2 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Duke of Earl was at another shelter that asked for our help. He has a mild heart murmur and needs a lifestyle free of extreme exertion.  Please visit and ask for him by name.

Recovering from severe neglect, Alvin does not take for granted enjoying regular meals and cozy blankets and kind attention.  He was at another shelter that asked for our help because he was emaciated and had numerous minor injuries on his body.  (The small marks on his ears appear to be from insect bites, but we can only speculate what he actually endured in a loveless home.)  Alvin is friendly and outgoing, so happy to be on the mend!  He is a chocolate & cream & white Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), 2 years young, good with dogs, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.
