Gabriella begins to shine and embark on a fresh start at 12 years of age. She is a gentle soul, a Terrier & Toy mix, good with other dogs and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Gabriella was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity and age. Her past is otherwise unknown, except that a police officer confiscated her from her previous home.    A peaceful home environment is ideal for Gabriella to help her continue blooming.

Parker , 12, listens carefully for words of reassurance.  Mostly blind, comforting sounds and touch mean the world to him.  Parker is a sensitive boy pleading for a gentle hero.  He is a blend of Italian Greyhound and Miniature Pinscher, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Chevy , young at heart at 12 years of age, likes chasing rolled-up paper balls.  He is a handsome medium-hair tuxedo, previously declawed, a neutered boy, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Chevy became homeless when his previous owners divorced.

Lady , 12, calm and humble, politely asks for someone to love.  Her previous owner passed away.  Lady is a gentle Cocker Spaniel, good with other dogs, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Please share her picture to help find her a hero.

Pearl , 12, so precious and loving, is recovering well from severe neglect and ready for her fresh start.  She is a Miniature Schnauzer with enormous love and gratitude to share.  Pearl is great with other dogs, housetrained & crate-trained, fine with older kids, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.  Pearl was in very poor condition at the time of rescue. Since then we put her on a premium probiotic food plan, groomed her, and had her back wound repaired (and growth removed).  Please give this sweetheart senior your consideration.

Sheldon , a gentle lovebug, embarks on a fresh start at 12 years of age. He is a tiny Poodle mix, good with other sweet dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Sheldon was found on the streets in poor, severely neglected condition with no sign of responsible ownership. Besides his premium food plan, we had him groomed and provided dental care.    Sheldon craves love and acceptance.

Sofia , 12, was on the streets and so matted and dirty we suspect she had been fending for herself or in an extremely neglectful home for quite some time.    Despite whatever she endured, Sofia likes people and wants affectionate and reassurance. Jack Ryan , 12, asks for a hero. He is a handsome Schipperke, good with dogs & cats, housetrained & crate-trained, neutered, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org). Jack Ryan requires twice-daily insulin shots for diabetes and he is blind in his right eye. He sometimes falls while he walks. He likes a leisurely lifestyle, with short periods of play-time (tug and fetch), resting near you and hearing your words of reassurance.

Amber & Duncan , 12 & 11 years of age, a mother and her son, politely ask for a hero. The pair needed us when their previous owner moved into her son's home and he rejected them.    Both Chihuahuas are kind, thoughtful and sweet.    They are spayed/neutered, good with dogs and mature kids, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Lolita , a 3-legged sweetheart, asks for a fresh start at 12 years of age.  She is a Chihuahua & Pug mix, housetrained & crate-trained, spayed, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We don't know what Lolita endured. Her left front leg was amputated prior to her rescue and she is nervous in new situations.  We believe Lolita will shine in a very stable and peaceful home environment.

Snoopy , 12, is housetrained and good with cats and dogs.  He is distraught at the moment, confused about becoming homeless after all of these years (when his previous owner moved into a home with breed restrictions).  Snoopy's favorite things include leisurely walks and sitting at your side on the couch while reading or watching TV.  He is a Bully & American Bulldog mix with bright golden eyes, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Elizabeth is getting a fresh start at 12 years of age. At long last, she will soon finally know what a loving home feels like. She was found abandoned on the streets, neglected, and flinching when touched. She is an Italian Greyhound & Chihuahua mix with mousy looks, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please help us find Elizabeth a hero. She has multiple challenges. Elizabeth is even more afraid of other dogs than people. She doesn't feel comfortable being picked up. She has few teeth left (we had dental care provided for her, including 18 teeth extractions). We look forward to the day when Elizabeth realizes she is no longer in danger and understands that she is worthy of love.

Felix , 12, looks up to people with so much love and gratitude. His spirits soar when you tell him he's such a good boy. Felix is good with other dogs too. He is a blond Shar Pei, neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is healing from severe neglect. At the time of rescue he was at another shelter with a large hip tumor. We had the growth removed and Felix is healing fine. His sunburned nose is being treated and improves a bit more each day.

Millicent , 12, a severe neglect and malnutrition survivor, arrived yesterday from another shelter that asked for our help.    She may have given up hope years ago, but her eyes widened when we introduced her to other dogs for companionship and when we held and reassured her. Millicent is a Maltese, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Please help find her a hero and she will realize that it's definitely not too late for a fresh start and the ability to know what being cherished feels like.

Mungojerrie , 12, a gentle soul, needs someone to love.  He is a slender Toy & Terrier mix, neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Mungojerrie from another shelter, which noted that not only was he severely neglected, he was also bruised and tender from physical trauma.  Mungojerrie is fine with most dogs.  Please help find him a calm and stable home where he will know peace-of-mind.
