Macy , 10, a tiny angel, was found abandoned on a desert road with a softball-sized chest tumor.    Veterinarians were able to remove the growth and save her life.     Macy has healed well and she's now ready to bless someone wonderful with her love. Macy is a Yorkshire Terrier, good with other dogs, spayed, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .   A gentle, affectionate home is ideal for her.

Corky , 10, youthful in spirit, shines with good cheer for children and adults he meets.    He is a Puggle, housetrained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Corky reportedly needs to be the only dog in the home. He was surrendered by his previous owner who moved to another state for extensive medical treatment. She mentioned that the scarring on his face and legs was from abuse in another home early in his life, which included efforts to duct-tape Corky's mouth shut. In the years following the cruelty Corky learned to trust people, especially kids.

Michael , bright-eyed and youthful at 10 years of age, is wonderfully friendly and hopeful!  He is a distinguished Manchester Terrier, good with dogs and kids, housetrained & crate-trained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Michael became homeless when his previous owners moved into a living situation where dogs are not allowed.

Olive , 10, a gentle spirit, yearns for love. She was in severely matted condition from years of neglect at the time of rescue. We had her coat shaved away and discovered angelic eyes pleading to finally know what a loving home feels like. Olive is a Toy & Terrier mix, spayed girl, housetrained, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Peanut , 10, is an earnest little gentleman asking for someone to love.  He is a Chihuahua mix, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Peanut needed us due to his previous owner's hardship.

Sharon , 10, a tiny angel, a Pekingese mix, reveals heartbreaking honesty and anxiety in her eye. Being the survivor of long-term severe neglect, she does not yet realize she is worthy of love. Sharon was found on the streets in deplorable condition. Her left eye is blind and shrunken (old injury), her teeth were in severe decay, and she was not spayed or indicating any other conceivable sign of responsible ownership. We had dental care provided for her and had Sharon spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Sharon loves gentle people and dogs. She debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Lola & Tino , 10 years of age, sister and brother, are bonded for life and together forever.  They are adorable Italian Greyhounds, good with cats and dogs, housetrained, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Tino is more outgoing and Lola likes following in his footsteps.  Tino's left ear was reportedly chewed off at birth by his mother.  The pair needed us due to their previous owners' financial hardship.  Please help find a hero for Lola & Tino .

Valentine , 10, an endearing girl asking for a fresh start, wonders what being loved feels like.    She is a gentle Malti-Poo, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Valentine was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her severe neglect. Her entire, matted coat had to be shaved away. We could not even see her face at the time of rescue. Once the knots were gone, her sweet and pleading brown eyes were finally revealed.

Sheldon , 10, is a sensitive boy needing someone very tender in voice and touch.    He is a Pomeranian, housetrained & crate-trained, neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Sheldon is very confused and distraught at the moment, and fussy with strangers touching him. He needed us when his previous owner became homeless. She loved him, but things were so dire financially that he was being fed candy. We believe Sheldon will adjust best in a very experienced, adult-only home with a sister or brother dog.

Thelma & Louise , a cheerful and affectionate pair, are happy to begin a new life.  Both are Bichon Frise & Toy Poodle mixes, 10 years of age, likely sisters, good with other dogs, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  The girls were found on the streets in poor condition (requiring grooming, dental care, more). They deserve to know what a responsible and loving home feels like.  The girls are bonded for life, together forever.  Please help find them a hero.

Bright Eyes is attracted to others with jolly spirits and she loves sharing her smiles.  She is young-at-heart at 10 years of age, a spayed girl, Labrador Retriever mix, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We believe Bright Eyes has the temperament to be great with kids.  We rescued her from another shelter that ceased its adoption program.

As hard as it is to see the pain still in Milo's face, he is actually improving a bit more each day and no longer hiding his face. He is very docile and he is slowly but surely beginning to hope again. Milo , 10, a cream tabby, was at another shelter that asked for our help. He had been confiscated from his previous home for cruelty and he was terrified of violence and rage. Milo likes soft-spoken volunteers and staff to pet him and reassure him with tender words. He is starting to show interest in toys too. We look forward to the day when he knows in his heart that he is safe and secure. Please help find a hero for Milo . Iggy , 10, shines radiantly.  His previous owner passed away, but despair and confusion have since given way to renewed hope.  He is a plump Fox Terrier, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Iggy has a fatty mass on his chest, deemed harmless at this time.

Delilah was found outside abandoned in a crate with a taped note saying: "She does not want love." Treasure is treasure, even if not appreciated as such by some. The reality is that Delilah is desperate for love. Delilah is deeply grateful for every kind word, gentle touch, and nutritious meal. She feels lost, unsure where she belongs, and we don't know what she has endured and witnessed. But Delilah will thrive in a peaceful home with a steady lifestyle routine.    She is a Chihuahua, spayed girl, good with other dogs, asking for a new life at 10 years of age. Buttercup's winsome smile is matched by the peace-of-mind in her eyes. Months ago at the time of her rescue, Buttercup refused to let us touch her. She wanted nothing more to do with humans and feared more violence.    Volunteers and staff sat with her, complimented her, and she began accepting kindness. Every week she improved. Now, Buttercup wags her tail and smiles when people she knows approach her. She is ready for her new life and fresh start, and debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Buttercup is great with other dogs, a calm-natured Chihuahua, spayed, and 10 years of age.    Please share her picture and help find Buttercup a wonderful forever home.

Marguerite , 10, is emerging from deep sorrow, becoming hopeful, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Labrador Retriever mix, fine with cats, and now spayed.  Margeurite needed us when her previous owners divorced and she cannot understand what has happened.  She doesn't like other dogs and needs a one-dog household.  Please help find a hero for Marguerite .
