Please consider sharing to help find loving foster parents. Anya , a tiny and pregnant Toy mix, was saved yesterday by a man whose relative was threatening to "dump her on the streets". Marissa , a golden-eyed shorthair feline, 2 years of age, is expected to give birth in two weeks or less. Pinto , just 2 weeks of age, needs to stay with his mom and 5 siblings. Their foster commitment will be for approximately 2 months. In addition, 30 more rescued kittens need foster heroes too!

Thank you very much for sharing these posts pleading for foster homes. Sharing helps find heroes and saves lives! This is the most critical time of the year so far for fragile lives. Daily, an average of 30 motherless newborns and at least 3 pregnant animals or moms with newborns are rescued! Darcy & Elizabeth , just 2 weeks of age, were found without a mother. A rescued nursing feline mother (Annabell) heard them crying when they arrived and asked the staff to give the babies to her and she accepted them instantly for mothering. Foster hero needed please for Brianna & Bambi ! Bambi , a motherless newborn, was found in a department store parking lot in distress. Brianna , a rescued mom who had just raised her own kittens, accepted Bambi . Brianna mothers Bambi tenderly. If you can foster them, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Sunlight , pregnant and captured on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership, is understandably worried about having a comfortable and peaceful place to birth and raise her babies.    Will you please share her picture to help find her a foster hero? The greatest need for foster heroes so far this year! Domino and 20 more rescued motherless kittens need foster homes this morning, plus many dozens more are expected to be rescued this afternoon and then dozens more on Saturday. We want to share Liza -- an inspiring, blind, 10-day-old kitten rescued yesterday from a storm drain -- and tell you about her remarkable will to live. She's stolen the hearts of everyone here and her foster mom and others are doing everything possible for her survival. Liza was discovered after yesterday morning's rains by a dog who was going for a walk. The couple walking the dog said the kitten was in a crevice, appearing to be holding on so as not to wash down through t he grates of the drain. Liza's eyes were completely covered in an enormous scab of crusted infection. (We have Liza's before picture, but ultimately decided it is too graphic to post). Liza's foster mom, Sonja, is encouraged by her progress so far. Liza was resistant to the bottle yesterday, but increasingly reaches for it and accepts it. Amelia (pictured here) and her brother, Rory , need a loving foster home please.    They are only 3 weeks of age. A woman rescued them from a trash can in front of a business. Elisa and Ellie are tiny baby sisters and two of the kittens a man heard crying for help inside the wall of his home.  He believed their mom dropped them in a vent and he broke into the wall to save them. Jack and Sally are not related, but two of the kittens abandoned at a veterinary hospital without their mother. Jenlin is an exceptionally sweet youngster, a pregnant girl who loves people, about 1 year of age.  She needs a peaceful, comfortable home environment where she can birth and raise her babies. Tender loving care from nurturing foster parents is the only hope for motherless newborns and others with a fragile hold on life.  We feel blessed to have so many volunteers and staff willing to care for these babies, even waking up in the middle of the night to ensure they are fed every three hours.  More people are needed to help as motherless newborns continue to be rescued throughout the spring and summer, so please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Lonnie if you would like to learn more about becoming a foster parent.
