Kane, baby boy Macy, baby girl Marion, baby girl Soupie, baby boy Temi, baby girl Kane , Marion , Macy , Soupie , and Temi are adorable and playful babies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They are Chihuahua & Toy mixes, 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and good with other sweet dogs. Their foster dad, who named them after players on his favorite NHL team, added the following notes. Kane is the largest and smartest (so far), Marion loves cuddling around your neck, Macy listens well and craves praise, Soupie delights in being held and cradled, and Temi is the smallest and most fearless. Please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship.

Norman , along with his surrogate mother Marcy, and two new siblings, urgently need a foster hero too. Please share this post to help. Norman , a lynx point kitten, was found motherless and in distress. His cries were heard by an adult cat named Marcy , who had just arrived at the shelter with her stillborn kitten. Marcy called out for Norman and signaled us with frantic scooping motions with her front paw to give him to her.    Marcy immediately began mothering him. Barbie and her 4 very young babies (2 weeks of age) arrived moments ago and urgently need a loving and comfortable foster home.  If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Dwane. Barbie is petite and gentle, a blend of Boston Terrier and other small breeds, 2 years of age.  The foster commitment please will be for approximately 10-12 weeks. Katlyn, momma Chloe, Clarissa, and Crystal, sisters Clark and Carter, brothers Katlyn and her babies have been in a loving foster home for 10 weeks preparing for this special day -- their adoption debut day. Katlyn's previous owner said "she keeps getting out and getting pregnant".  At the time of rescue Katlyn's five kittens were just newborns, about 2 weeks old, and their eyes were still closed. The kittens were in delicate health and Katlyn was traumatized.  We rushed them into foster care and within days their foster mom succeeded in winning Katlyn's trust and the kittens were stable. Update: These babies are now in a loving foster home receiving care. Urgent request for help!  These four kittens need a foster home today.  They are just four weeks of age and still need bottle-feeding.  If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm and ask for Janean.  These sweet babies were rescued from a cardboard box by an apartment complex dumpster, and believe it or not, the person who dumped them had written a sign on the box saying "God Bless".  Most fortunately, a compassionate person heard their cries before the trash truck arrived.

Brigitte Catherine Cherie Honey Bun Mademoiselle We rescued Mademoiselle and her four newborns, then just 4 days old, back in July, on one of the hottest days of the year.  Mademoiselle had given birth to her babies in someone's backyard. Mademoiselle was so fatigued and dehydrated that we worried she would be too weak to care for her babies.  We rushed the five cats into foster care and showered them with loving attention, and Mademoiselle proved to be a wonderful, nurturing mother. Now, Mademoiselle and her kittens are spayed and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Mademoiselle is an exceptionally affectionate silver tabby, 3 years of age.  Her daughters are 4 months of age, and all are loving, playful, and athletic.  Brigitte is a shorthair dilute calico.  Catherine is a shorthair tortoiseshell & white.  Cherie is a medium-hair torbie.  And Honey Bun is a medium-hair calico. Alondra is a very cuddly baby girl with ocean blue eyes debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She was found as a motherless newborn behind a Strip casino.  A loving foster parent raised and socialized her.  Alondra is now 3 months of age, spayed, and ready for a forever home.  Please ask for her by name when you visit. Please carefully kitten-proof your home for her safety and protection.
