Brando , a charismatic boy with expressive eyes, wants to find his place in this chaotic world and reach his full loving potential. Brando is a Chihuahua & Beagle mix (15 pounds), 3 years young and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity.    We placed Brando with an easy-going dog for companionship and his fear melted away. He would love to join a family where he can be another dog's loyal brother.

Sasha , a sweetheart junior puppy, loves children, adults, and dogs, plus she is housetrained & crate-trained too.  She is a Mini Bully with expressive eyes, 10 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Sasha needed us due to her previous owners' financial hardship.

Pablo melts hearts with his expressive and earnest eyes.  He is a junior puppy longing for his place in this chaotic world and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Pablo is an Italian Greyhound & Chihuahua mix, 7 months of age, good with other dogs, and now neutered. Mara's "double diamond" eyes are especially pronounced when you see her from a distance and they complement her warm and beautifully expressive face. Mara is an endearing girl seeking someone to love forever.    She is a Retriever & Shepherd mix, 4 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    We rescued her from another shelter that ran out of space.

Vicky , an affectionate young girl, pleads for someone she can devote herself to forever.  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with expressive eyes, likely a Boxer mix, and she is 2 years of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Vicky was reportedly abandoned on the streets and captured by a neighbor.  She deserves better. We want to find her a stable home where she will be treasured.

Aurora , a docile girl with a beautiful soul, refused to eat or lift her head after her surrender. Despair lifted when a staff person held her head in his lap and stroked her neck and shoulders. We then paired Aurora with a dog friend and she stood up and began eating her treats and wagging her tail. Aurora is a Smooth Collie & Hound mix, 7 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She is good with kids and like getting hugs.    Her previous owners reportedly banished her to living exclusively outdoors, which is unacceptable, so please be patient as she adjusts to a proper and loving home where she is valued as a member of the family.

"Can you see the love in my eyes?" Rembrandt , 3 years young, is a tender-hearted boy asking for someone to devote himself to for life. He is a Chihuahua mix, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . We rescued Rembrandt from another shelter that asked for our help. He was trembling in fear. We don't know what traumas Rembrandt endured, he had to be confiscated by officers from his previous home (for reasons unknown). "Who can I love?" Derek's eyes say it all. He yearns to know his place in this chaotic world. Derek is a thoughtful youngster, a blond Chihuahua, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He was found abandoned on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Casey believes in human goodness and eagerly awaits someone she can love and adore forever. Casey is a charming Basset Hound, 7 years of age, spayed girl, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).    She is housetrained and good with mature kids.    Casey's previous owner said she gets along well with dogs her size and larger, but gets irritated with Toy breed-sized dogs.

Alejandro captivates with expressive eyes and happy-go-lucky charm.  He is a Toy & Terrier mix, 1 year of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Alejandro was at another shelter that asked for our help due to a birth defect on the sheath of his penis. We had surgery provided for him (forging a sheath) and he is healing well.  Please visit and ask for Alejandro by name.

Beau is happy when he knows you accept him and like being around him.  His expressive eyes always seem to reveal precisely what he's feeling.  Beau is a handsome youngster, a Retriever & Shepherd mix, neutered boy, just under 2 years of age, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help because he hasn't had proper leash training yet.  Please be willing and able to provide Beau with kind guidance and basic training so he can reach his full loving potential.

Truman , now healed and no longer in severe pain, is turning into quite the loverboy and enjoys building relationships with people.    He is a handsome young tabby with expressive eyes, 3 years of age and neutered, previously declawed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Truman is good with kids. He gets agitated by other cats and needs a one-cat household please. An extra note which is important in telling Truman's story: Truman's painful condition was reportedly unnecessary. His veterinarian directed Truman's previous owners to stop feeding him raw meat and stop denying him fresh water. (Their theory was reportedly that he received enough moisture from the raw meat and did not need fresh water, despite the veterinarian's strong objections.) Truman eventually developed bladder crystals and was surrendered to the veterinarian, who in turn treated and saved him, and then asked for our help to find him a responsible home. Truman is ...

Zoie's eyes say it all. She pleads for kindness and stability and offers unconditional devotion in return. Zoie wants someone to love and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is a young Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher mix, 1 year of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats & dogs & older kids. Zoie needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Rodney's expressive eyes reveal his plea for a sense of belonging. Tell him you're happy with him and he'll lick your chin or roll over for a belly rub. Rodney is a super sweet, athletic young Bully mix with tuxedo coloration, 2 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He is compatible with some dogs who he knows and gets used to being around.    Rodney was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Delilah's eyes clearly reveal her plea for someone to love.  Homeless at 10 years of age, then rescued from another shelter, she cannot understand all of the things happening to her.     Delilah is a plump, 100-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, spayed girl, good with most dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Emma is a lovable young girl eager to begin her new life.  She is a "Chug" mix (Chihuahua & Pug -- with a curly-Q tail), 1 year of age, spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Emma is both sporty and affectionate and great with other dogs.  She was at another shelter that ran out of space.

You can see so much hope and kindness in Annie's eyes.  This beautiful girl is blooming and now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Annie from another shelter.  She was terrified and wanted nothing to do with people.  But thanks to exceptional foster care, Annie is now housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs of all sizes, playing fetch and enjoying belly rubs, and realizing that people are capable of incredible kindness.  Annie is a medium-size Heinz 57, likely with Bully or Rottweiler, 3 years young and spayed.  Please help find her a wonderful home where she continues to improve and reach her full loving potential.

Wynn was found running stray near one of the busiest intersections in Las Vegas.  Fortunately, a caring person caught him before any harm could come his way from all of the cars and trucks there.  (There was no sign at all of responsible ownership -- no ID tag, no microchip ID, and he was then unneutered.)  Wynn is a jazzy, expressive pup, a Cockapoo, about 11 months of age, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Wynn enjoys other dogs and needs regular professional grooming.  Please ask for him specifically by name when you visit.

The sensitivity and hardship revealed in Vinny's eyes can break your heart.  But Vinny's story is one of triumph and progress.  Thanks to gentle volunteers and staff, he is flinching less when we touch his head and leaning against us to bond and feel reassurance.  It's time for Vinny's progress to continue in a stable, loving, forever home with someone experienced and calm.  He is a medium-size Shepherd mix, 2 years young, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please share Vinny's post to help find him a hero who will show him only the best of human nature.
