Every day is so precious. We are especially reminded of this when those we love may have shortened lifespans. Mia , a tiny lovebug puppy, weighing only 4 pounds, 8 months of age, loves being held and reassured. Talk sweet and she will lay her head against your neck and chest.    She is a Chihuahua, good with cats and dogs, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA . Mia was born with a mild case of hydrocephalus (neurological disorder in which excess cerebrospinal fluid accumulates in the brain). She may live without suffering for many years, or for just several months, as her veterinarians cannot predict her future well-being.    Please help us find a hero to cheerfully shower Mia with love and adoration for however many days/weeks/months/years she has to grace us with.

Sarabi , 18, is a cheerful angel asking for a hero.  She remains young at heart despite the trauma of the death of her previous owner, as well as the diminishing sight and hearing of her own.  Sarabi is a Shih-Tzu and she likes cuddling with other sweet dogs.  Every day, week, month, and year is precious. Caden , a polite boy with quiet strength, reminds us that every single day is precious. He needs a hero for his final months. We found Caden abandoned in a parking lot in very poor condition.    He is grateful for all acts of kindness, including all meals, treats, and reassuring words and touches.    A veterinary hospital ran tests and determined that Caden has cancer and it has spread throughout his body. But there are no indications that he is suffering, so we were advised to find him a gentle and comfortable home for best possible quality of life for his time left.    If you are willing to foster or adopt Caden , please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for DJ. Precious , 14 years of age and blind, was found abandoned in a wash.  She relaxes in the presence of other sweet dogs.  Precious is a Spaniel mix, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Precious is not suffering and she has love to share. During her teeth cleaning, which included 14 teeth extractions, her veterinarian discovered an oral mass unable to be removed.  Precious is unaware of it, and if it is slow-growing, then she could have many more months.  We want her to know love and kindness for however many quality days/weeks/months she has left on Earth.  Please help find a hero for Precious .

Nancy reminds us that every single day with quality of life is precious.  She is a happy girl, a pretty Miniature Pinscher, 8 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  When Nancy's previous owner surrendered her she was in distress from heart failure, wheezing and struggling to breathe.  Nancy is now on daily medications and breathing well.  There was damage to her heart, so she requires a very leisurely lifestyle (free of strain, heavy exertion, or extreme heat).  Please help find Nancy a hero who will treasure the moments that she has left on Earth, whether it be months or years is unknown.
