Hailey

Image
Hailey is a radiant young girl who loves giving doggie kisses!  She is a beautiful Siberian Husky, 1 year young and spayed, housetrained, compatible with some large dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Hailey is exceptionally intelligent and can escape from standard crates and pens, so an especially secure home and yard is vital for her safety.  She was surrendered by her previous owner due to her puppy-like behaviors and high-energy level in an apartment home.

Rebecca

Image
Rebecca likes to hug, shake paws, and give high-fives.    But she's had a difficult life and worries about which men she can trust.    Rebecca is a gorgeous Shepherd mix, 5 years of age and spayed, good with kids, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Rebecca was reportedly living on a chain in a yard (which was dangerous and unacceptable).    She can scale fences and dig under gates, but she is exceptionally well-behaved indoors.  She may do best in a home environment where all of her outdoor time is under supervision.   Rebecca is reportedly fine with large dogs, but cannot be around any small animals.

Honeydew

Image
Honeydew is a tender-hearted, athletic girl with a majestic presence and gentle nature.  She is tall and slender and uniquely beautiful, most likely a blend of Saluki or Greyhound blended with German Shepherd or Husky, 7 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Honeydew is good with dogs (large and medium-sized) and kids. She is mostly housetrained and a very secure home and yard is needed due to her escape abilities.  Please help find her a wonderful, loving forever home.

I have an adventurous spirit.

We suspect Rowan was not given enough attention and playtime in his previous home. Bursting with curiosity and excitement, he kept dashing out the front door every chance he got. Rowan is a small, super cute Terrier mix, neutered boy, 2 years young, debuting for adoption today. Besides enjoying other dogs and kind children, he is reportedly housetrained. Please carefully secure your home and yard for his safety and protection.

I am terrified I will be abandoned yet again.

Juno is a loyal youngster, gorgeous and intelligent. But repeatedly losing her homes and families during her first year of life has taken a substantial toll, creating separation anxiety, because in her mind when you leave her alone you may disappear forever too. Please imagine how horrifying this must be to her, as she gives her whole heart and unconditional love to those who she cannot count on being around forever. In an experienced home though, Juno will shine and reach her full potential.  She is a Siberian Husky with stunning eyes, spayed girl, one year of age, reportedly compatible with cats and most larger dogs. A patient, understanding person with Husky knowledge and/or experience is needed for her.   She needs to complete housetraining (she is reportedly mostly housetrained), and a secure home and yard will keep her from escaping (which may seem fun to her, but is very dangerous).

Toys? Who needs toys? I am all about loving people.

Rojo Grande is a mellow, easy-going girl. But solitude makes her anxious, and if left alone unattended, she reportedly tries to escape to find people again.  This is reportedly why she lost her home.  Her previous owners said she could jump a 6-foot wall or fence when left alone. The good news for Rojo Grande is that there are a number of helpful options to keep her safely secure in your home, including crate-training when you are gone. Rojo Grande is reportedly housetrained, crate-trained, and compatible with cats and dogs.  She is a medium-size Retriever & Bully mix with mocha coloring, spayed, and approximately 7 years of age.

Thank you for helping me and my babies at our time of greatest need.

Butters lost her home and family at the worst time, after giving birth to 6 puppies. Her babies remain in a foster home and all 6 are thriving. Butters is now spayed and debuting for adoption today. She is a medium-size girl with sad, expressive eyes, most likely a Shepherd and Husky mix (though smaller than both of those breeds). She is approximately 7 years of age. Butters adores women and teenagers, but is reportedly timid with some men. And while she has been housetrained in the past, she spent the past year living outdoors only on a ranch-style property, so please be patient with her on completing housetraining again. This smart girl is fine with some dogs (though she takes the alpha role) and she is apparently a good escape artist, so a very secure home and yard are necessary for her safety. Full of devotion, we believe Butters will bloom beautifully in a committed, loving home . Please visit and ask for her by name.

I may be mischievous, but at least I am adorably mischievous.

Update: Zak was adopted on March 22nd! Zak lost his previous home due to being a "runner" -- an escape artist. So this clever, adventurous little boy needs both physical and mental exercise, which can be achieved with daily playtimes and walks, along with lots of other quality time with him. Zak is most likely a "Malti-Poo" (Maltese & Poodle mix). He is neutered, about 3 years of age, and ready for adoption today. Apart from being an escape artist, he is well-behaved. He is good with other dogs and reportedly fine with kind children, and housetrained too (with a doggie door). Please plan on regular brushing and grooming care for Zak . Plus, he needs a very secure home and yard for his safety and protection.

I am a sporty girl who would love an active lifestyle.

Update: Lulu was adopted on March 11th! Athletic and fun-loving, Lulu is a gorgeous puppy, bursting with curiosity and joy for life. She is a Vizsla mix, spayed female, about 6 months of age. We expect her to grow to medium size. Lulu relishes playing with other dogs, and reportedly enjoys kind children too. She is reportedly partially housetrained, so she will need your patience and good guidance to complete housetraining. Please only consider Lulu if you can set aside sufficient time daily for walks and play, challenging and engaging both her body and mind with exercise. Though still a puppy, Lulu shows signs of being quite clever and adventurous. She is an escape artist, so a very secure home and yard is essential for her safety and protection. Lulu debuts for adoption today. Please ask for her by name.
