Gustav , a friendly Pekingese, treasures peaceful moments with you in your home and yard.  He is 4 years of age, housetrained, good with dogs and older kids, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Gustav is on daily epilepsy medication to diminish the frequency and severity of seizures. (Fortunately, the medication is generally inexpensive and highly effective.)  Please share Gustav's post to help find him a hero for life.

Mayberry , an intelligent and devoted boy, asks for a hero. He is a Queensland Heeler mix, 5 years of age, neutered, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Mayberry was surrendered due to having epilepsy. Fortunately, anti-seizure (antiepileptic) drugs are generally highly effective and inexpensive. He can live a full, very high quality life with daily medication.

Please help us find Lenny a hero. He is a wonderful little gentleman, and volunteers have helped him immensely in overcoming memories of past abuse, but for months he has been overlooked because of his epilepsy. Fortunately, Lenny is responding well to his daily medication -- which is very inexpensive -- and has not had a seizure that we know of in the past 5 months. Lenny is a Chihuahua mix, 5 years of age, neutered boy, good with dogs and cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Update: Boy Chuck was adopted on June 7th! Boy Chuck is a chatty, friendly, endearing boy. He is a handsome Beagle, neutered male, almost 9 years of age. Boy Chuck enjoys other dogs and may do best in a home with another dog. We rescued him from another shelter, so we do not have much background information on him. He reportedly has epilepsy and is on lifelong medication (Phenobarbital, which is inexpensive) to prevent and reduce seizures. We have not witnessed any seizures since his rescue, but we have no reason to believe the reports of his condition are erroneous. Please be his hero. Boy Chuck has a world of unconditional love to share with you.
