Mona Lisa shines when she feels safe around gentle people. Gigi , thoughtful and endearing, needs someone to cherish and adore.  She is a lovely spirit, a Border Collie mix, 9 years of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats & dogs & kids, spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Gigi needed us due to her previous owner's declining health.

Hannah , an endearing young girl with doe-like beauty, needs a home and someone to love.  She is a well-behaved Shepherd mix, 2 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Hannah became homeless because a previous family member was allergic to her.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

Mindy makes a bit more progress each day recovering from a broken heart and adjusting to life with one eye. She is an endearing girl, a Chihuahua, 4 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Mindy needed us when her previous owner passed away. Her left eye was ulcerated and could not be saved (from unknown trauma).

Lucy , now healed so beautifully from being run over by a car, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  This endearing youngster deeply appreciates every act of kindness.  Lucy is a blond Terrier & Toy mix, 2 years of age, good with other dogs and now spayed.  At the time of rescue she was found prone in a street with a severe head wound. Thank you to the donors who made her care and healing possible.

Mara's "double diamond" eyes are especially pronounced when you see her from a distance and they complement her warm and beautifully expressive face. Mara is an endearing girl seeking someone to love forever.    She is a Retriever & Shepherd mix, 4 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    We rescued her from another shelter that ran out of space.

Cranberry , an endearing young girl with hypnotic eyes, likes being held and reassured.  She is a lovely lilac point Siamese, 1 year of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Cranberry needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Suri is an angelic, dainty girl who deeply appreciates every kind word and touch.     She is a blond Chihuahua, 7 years of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Suri was found abandoned on the streets with large mammary tumors and not a single sign of responsible ownership. Thanks to generous donors, we had advanced veterinary care (a mastectomy, removal of tumors) provided for her and she is healing well. Suri would love a peaceful, gentle home where she knows she is cherished every day.

Kira adores children and adults and she gets along beautifully with other dogs too.  Kira is an endearing girl, a Heinz 57 with Retriever and other breeds, 4 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Miss Azalea , 13, well-behaved and wise, appreciates every kind word and touch. She is a soulful Boxer mix, spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats & dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Miss Azalea was abandoned by her previous owners at an animal hospital. She cannot understand what has happened and feels gloomy, but she is not panicking.    Please share her post to help find a hero so Miss Azalea will have someone to deeply love and admire.

Corazon ("heart") is an endearing young girl asking for responsible, loving, forever home.    Her name is inspired by the heart-shaped stripe on her head and her affectionate nature. Corazon is a lovely blend of many small breeds, 1 year of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She bonds well with people and dogs.    We rescued Corazon from a shelter that had ceased its adoption program and her background is otherwise unknown.

Penelope is fond of snuggling at your side while you sleep and rolling over for gentle belly rubs. She is a pretty blend of breeds (likely including Beagle, Dachshund, and King Charles Spaniel), 4 years of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of her rescue in January, Penelope was pregnant and she had been abandoned at a veterinary clinic. We placed her in a loving foster home and she soon thereafter gave birth to 5 babies. (Her puppies are all thriving well. They will remain in the foster home for a few more weeks before being ready for spay/neuter and adoption.)

Cookie hangs on your every word when you tell her she is lovely and amazing and about to find the best home ever.  She is an endearing Lhasa Apso & Toy mix, 6 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Cookie was at another shelter that asked for our help due to a growth on her gum (epilus). We had dental care provided for her, including the removal of the growth, and she is healing very well. Please visit and ask for Cookie by name.

Carmine , 10 years of age and 105 pounds of gentle love, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is a beautiful Rottweiler mix, spayed girl, good with other friendly dogs. Carmine was at another shelter and asked for our help. She bonds quickly with people who are sweet to her.

Elaine feels lost without someone to love. She is petite, but her unconditional devotion is enormous.  Elaine is a blond Chihuahua, almost 5 years of age, a spayed girl, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and older kids, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a good listener and enjoys sitting at your side hearing you tell her about everything. Elaine needed us because a member of her previous family is allergic to her.

Louvre , a resplendent young girl, can continue blooming and reaching her full loving potential in a gentle, stable home.  She is a gold & white Longhair Chihuahua mix with an endearing temperament, 1 year of age and spayed, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Louvre can reportedly get agitated and nippy from jealousy -- though we have not witnessed this here -- but gets along fine with most dogs.  We rescued Louvre from another shelter that asked for our help.

In mid-August, Vivian was pregnant and abandoned.  A volunteer found her tied to a tree without food, water, or a blanket.  We put out an immediate plea on social media for a foster hero, and thanks to you sharing her post, it succeeded.  Vivian was in labor as the foster parent arrived and over the following hours gave birth to 6 babies.  Since then Vivian has raised her puppies in a loving home environment.  She is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).  (Her puppies will be ready in the days/weeks to come.)  Vivian is an endearing, friendly small Bully mix, 2 years of age.  Please help her find a responsible home so that she never has to experience rejection and abandonment again.
