Marlin , 14, an earnest and gentle soul, is recovering from heartbreak. (He was found abandoned in a crate in a parking lot without food or water.) Marlin likes chin and shoulder scratches. Frank is an inquisitive, earnest boy who loves being with and bonding with people.  He is a super cute Pug, 6 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Frank gets along with dogs larger than himself, but tends to be too bossy and overbearing with those who are smaller.  Precautions are needed for short-nosed dogs, like Frank , in the desert to avoid tragic overheating and extreme exertion, so please be knowledgeable about Pugs before considering Frank to be a lifelong member of your family.

Pablo melts hearts with his expressive and earnest eyes.  He is a junior puppy longing for his place in this chaotic world and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Pablo is an Italian Greyhound & Chihuahua mix, 7 months of age, good with other dogs, and now neutered. Mateo , an earnest youngster recovering from severe neglect, is eager to know what a loving home feels like.    He is a friendly Poodle mix, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Mateo was so matted at the time of rescue that he was unrecognizable. A man found him wandering the streets with nowhere to go and no sign of responsible ownership.    Please be patient with Mateo as he adjusts to you, your home, and your lifestyle.

Major Tom , 15, was found disoriented on the side of a road with no sign of responsible ownership.  He is a small, earnest boy, a blend of many breeds (Heinz 57), neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Major Tom's eyes are full of hope and he deeply appreciates every kind word, touch, and action.  Please help find him a hero.

Mr. Smith needed us when his previous owner passed away.  He is an earnest, gentle Wirehaired Dachshund, 6 years of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Mr. Smith enjoys belly rubs and cuddling.

O'Shea wonders if the people he meets will like him. He is desperate for praise and reassurance.    Once he knows you approve of him, he leans against your side, lifts his head, and enjoys your affection. O'Shea is a young Boxer mix, likely with Bully and Retriever, 3 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He is compatible with some large dogs if fed separately.    We rescued O'Shea from another shelter that ran out of space.

Ty , as gentle as a baby bird, just wants people to like him. His eyes especially reveal his soul and he longs for kindness. Ty is a Rottweiler mix junior puppy, 11 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Ty was at another shelter that asked for our help because of an old front leg injury (caused by unknown massive trauma).    Cuddling is his favorite thing, so please plan plenty of snuggle-time with him daily.

Bubba , an earnest junior puppy, loves to swim, snack on carrots, snuggle, and go for walks. Bubba is an attractive blend of many breeds, perhaps including Dane, Mastiff, and Dutch Shepeherd, 10 months of age. He is housetrained & crate-trained, good with other large dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Bubba reportedly gets very anxious around young children and gets troubled when they cry, yell, or play too boisterously. An adult-only home is ideal for him, or a home where all of the children are much older and very gentle and mature.

Edwin is very sweet and he is grateful for all kindness.  He is an earnest boy, a Chihuahua, 7 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.   Edwin is good with dogs and kids, plus housetrained too.  He is 1 of 36 rescued Chihuahuas (or Chihuahua mixes) awaiting loving forever homes.

Pinocchio , 11, an earnest Jack Russell Terrier mix who likes giving doggie kisses, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is housetrained, neutered, good with kids, and good with dogs (if fed meals and treats separately).  Pinocchio was at another shelter that asked for our help because he cannot be adopted to a home with cats.  Please visit and ask for this sweet senior by name.

Derek , a young and earnest boy, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Labrador Retriever mix, weighing almost 100 pounds, 1 year of age and neutered, and housetrained.  Derek needed us because his previous owners said he is 'too big' and destroyed a remote control.  Please visit and ask for Derek by name.

Nathaniel is a gentle, earnest teddy bear.  Give him a few minutes to be comfortable with you and he will share his smile.  Nathaniel is a handsome, red-brown Heinz 57 with Chow Chow and Shepherd, about 7 years of age, a neutered boy, great with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Nathaniel in the nick of time from another shelter.

Champion is an earnest, sporty boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Bully mix with panda-like coloring, about 4 years of age and neutered.  Champion is reportedly good with kids, but shy with adults until he knows they intend him no harm.  (We suspect he has witnessed domestic violence or other domestic traumas based on his timidity and the limited information obtained from his previous owner.)  Please help find Champion a responsible, stable lifelong home where he will be showered with love and enjoy daily playtime sessions.

Charlie is an earnest boy who must wonder if he dares to let himself become hopeful again.  He was so matted, and likely unloved, at the time of rescue that we had to have his coat completely shaved off to give him a fresh start.  Charlie is a Miniature Poodle (21 pounds, larger than a Toy Poodle), about 7 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Charlie loves other dogs and he is beginning to believe in people.  An experienced home is needed for his continuing progress.  Please help Charlie find a hero to help him reach his full loving potential.
