Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Aurora , a docile girl with a beautiful soul, refused to eat or lift her head after her surrender. Despair lifted when a staff person held her head in his lap and stroked her neck and shoulders. We then paired Aurora with a dog friend and she stood up and began eating her treats and wagging her tail. Aurora is a Smooth Collie & Hound mix, 7 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She is good with kids and like getting hugs.    Her previous owners reportedly banished her to living exclusively outdoors, which is unacceptable, so please be patient as she adjusts to a proper and loving home where she is valued as a member of the family.

Pompeii , a youngster so desperate for acceptance, hugs new people and closes his eyes hoping for approval. If he hears your praise, he pops his eyes open and his whole body wiggles with delight! We admire Pompeii's Batman-like appearance. He is a blend of Retriever and other breeds with sable tuxedo coloring, 2 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    We rescued Pompeii from another shelter that ran out of space.

Johnny is a young boy who enjoys hugging, leaning into you when at your side, and sneaking doggie kisses on your cheeks.  He is a good-looking and friendly blend of Foxhound and Retriever, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Johnny was at another shelter that ran out of space.  We believe he has the temperament to be terrific with kids.

Skye is all about hugs and doggie kisses! She is exceptionally affectionate, housetrained & crate-trained, and great with kids. Skye is a gorgeous, unique blend of breeds (like Aussie Shepherd, Collie & Siberian Husky), a junior puppy just 9 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. Skye is picky about which dogs she likes. She needed us because a member of her previous family was allergic to her.
