Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Ozzy is irresistible, especially when he's dancing, prancing, and wiggling! He is a handsome Australian Shepherd, 3 years of age and neutered, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Ozzy needed us when his previous family moved away without him. We were surprised and heartbroken to discover his fear of long hand-held objects. Ozzy is all smiles and joy with his caretakers, but when he sees them holding a mop or broom he screams loudly and fearfully. Please help us find Ozzy a peaceful, stable home where he will be treasured forever.

Elvis dances on his hind legs when he is especially happy and greeting you.  He is a soulful Bichon Frise & Poodle mix, about 5 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA, and he is great wit h other sweet dogs.  We rescued Elvis from another shelter. He was a matted mess and one of his teeth was painfully broken, but he is now cleaned up, well with dental care, and ready to start a new life with lots of love and promise. Please ask for Elvis by name when you visit.

Crystal & Sugar are delightful young sisters, gorgeous Bichon Frises, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  The girls have entertaining personalities and dance on their hind legs when especially excited.  They are about 3 years of age, spayed, crate-trained, and mostly housetrained.  Crystal & Sugar needed us when one of their previous owners died.  The girls are soul-mates and need to remain together forever.

Update: Bochi was adopted on November 26th! Bochi is a little show-stopper!  He has learned that his enthusiastic dancing wins attention and adoration every time.  He stands on his hind legs, does dog-paddle swimming motions in the air, and bounces up and down. He is a super cute Lhasa Apso & Terrier mix, neutered male, about 5 years of age. Bochi had been abandoned on the streets, where he would not have survived for long fending for himself. He is eager to please, so we think he will take to your good guidance quickly.   In addition, he is good with other dogs. Please plan on regular professional grooming care for him. Update: Prissy was adopted on November 8th! This young lady is full of character and pizzazz.  Get ready for her to melt your heart. Prissy delights in dancing with swimming motions in the air with her front paws.  She will also stand on her hind legs to make it easier for you to pick her up for snuggling. She is a Maltese & Toy mix, spayed, about 3 years of age, debuting for adoption today. She loves other sweet dogs and needs regular professional grooming care. We rescued Prissy from another shelter that had run out of space to keep her.
