DeNiro's favorite thing is cuddling and doing everything he can to squeeze onto your lap. ("Lap dogs" come in all sizes.)  He is a youngster with cute dimples and an affectionate nature, a blend of Retriever and Shepherd, 2 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  DeNiro was at another shelter that ran out of space.

L'il Bit Blue Chewy Downs L'il Bit and her three brothers -- Blue , Chewy , and Downs -- are adorable babies raised and socialized in a wonderful foster home since their rescue.    They are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . The babies like cuddling with each other, people, and stuffed animal toys.    Their parents are unknown, but they care believed to be Chi-Weenie & Toy mixes, most likely to remain small in size.    Please consider adopting a pair for lifetime companionship and love.

Monique , an intelligent puppy who learns good behaviors quickly, loves cuddling, playing, and meeting new people.  She is a luminous blend of Shepherd & Queensland Heeler, 6 months of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Monique was surrendered by her previous owners who wanted her to have a more stable home environment. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.

Julio was bashful for his pictures this morning, but he is quite content in calm arms and cuddling up against people he knows and trusts.  Gentle chin scratches are one of his favorite things and you can usually find him following you around the room.  Julio is a blue-eyed white feline, 9 years of age and neutered, good with other cats, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA . He needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.

Deirdre is a very friendly and pretty little lady who needs someone to adore.  She is reportedly a French Bulldog & Jack Russell Terrier mix, 8 years of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Deirdre enjoys cuddling, kong toys, and playing catch.  She is fine with some dogs, but picky with many.  Deirdre was surrendered because she is intolerant of toddlers and young children.

Royal is a baby boy who loves snuggling and feeling adored.  He is healing well (minor nose injury) and now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Royal is a remarkably cute White Shepherd & Siberian Husky puppy, 5 months of age, and good with other dogs.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. He was found on the streets in poor condition and with no sign of responsible ownership.  Royal deserves a stable, responsible home where he will always be safe and treasured.

Adam's wonderful update! Thank you to his new mom, Rachel, who shared these pictures of him enjoying his forever home. She says he loves cuddling and squeaky toys. Rachel adopted Adam , a Pug mix, in August and named him " Sam ". He took a few days to adjust to the new home and lifestyle, then adapted beautifully.

Debbie , 14, a most gentle angel, needed us when her previous owner moved into assisted living.    We are keep her spirits lifted with lots of holding and cuddling, as well as pairing her up with friendly dogs for companionship. Debbie is a petite Chihuahua with cute, front-folding ears and expressive eyes.    She is spayed, housetrained, humble and loving, and waiting for a hero to adopt her at Nevada SPCA .

Zenia was just a few weeks old when she was found in a wash.  Since then she has been lovingly raised, nurtured, and socialized in a wonderful foster home.  Zenia is now 3 months of age, spayed, affectionate, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  She relishes cuddling as much as she enjoys her toys.

Anna & Elsa , devoted baby sisters, love to play and sleep together, and cuddle with people. The girls are Toy mixes, expected to remain small in size, now 4 months of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . The babies were just weeks old when abandoned by their previous owner who said they were "unwanted". But these girls are priceless, adorable treasures, full of enormous love. We placed them in a wonderful foster home for nurturing care and socialization. Puppies are generally not required to be adopted in pairs, but Anna & Elsa seem to us to have an unusually strong bond that needs to be honored, for life. Please adopt them for lifelong love and companionship. Extra note: The crescent shape in Anna's right eye is an ice-blue sunburst. Like most sunbursts, it does not impact her vision, but always add an extra twinkle to her eye.

Ruth is 1 of 40 rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA ! Ruth is a lilac point Siamese baby girl, now 4 months of age and spayed.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.   Since her rescue from a department store parking lot when just weeks only, she has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home with cats, dogs, and kids.    Ruth enjoys climbing her cat tower, chasing laser pointers, and cuddling with gentle people.

Sable Stella Sable and Stella are adorable baby sisters with exceptionally affectionate natures.  Both girls are happiest when cuddling with people and dogs. Sable enjoys pulling the stuffing out of her stuffed animal toys.  Stella likes to throw her toys in the air and catch them before they hit the ground. The girls are likely Mastiff and Bully mixes with hazel eyes, 3 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  We expect them to grow to large size. Last month they were found tied to a gate and abandoned on ropes.  Since their rescue they have been lovingly raised and socialized in a wonderful foster home. The girls can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

November 4 July 6 August Liza triumphantly debuting for adoption today! Many of you will remember this past summer when a 10-day-old blind baby was found clinging to a storm drain. A couple walking their dog after the rainstorm discovered her and saved her from being washed away and drowned. Her face was covered by an enormous scab of infection (our photo is too graphic to post), resulting in the loss of her right eye and partial destruction of her left eye. Sonja, her foster mom, named her Liza , and nurtured her with remarkably tender care. Liza's desperate will to live was evident in many ways, including how she grasped her bottle. Liza is now 4 months of age, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . More than anything, she loves being held and cuddled. A gentle, reassuring touch means everything to her. Lori , 9, loves cuddling and snuggling.    Tell her she's your "lap dog" and she will lean her head against your chest. Lori is a gentle soul, a Bully mix, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She was found abandoned in a shopping center and her past is otherwise unknown.

Chrissy and her newborns in August Molly May is the first of Chrissy's babies to be ready for adoption. She is an adorable puppy with magical green eyes and she loves playing fetch, bonding with people and dogs, and giving puppy kisses. Chrissy is a Queensland Heeler mix and Molly May's father is unknown. We expect her to grow to medium size, like her mother. Molly May is 3 months of age and spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Molly May's foster mom said she is already housetrained and crate-trained, plus she knows how to use a doggie door. You may remember Chrissy and her babies from their rescue this summer from another shelter. Molly May's siblings will be spayed/neutered and ready for adoption too in the days to come.   Note: Chrissy was spayed and adopted last week.

Mei asks for someone who loves to cuddle. Snuggling with you on the couch while reading or watching TV is likely her greatest pleasure.  Mei is a gorgeous lilac point Siamese, 8 years of age and spayed, good with cats and dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Cato is a baby boy who loves being in your arms, cuddling and hearing your praise.  He is a hazel-eyed Chihuahua puppy, 4 months of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. Cato was found abandoned with no sign of responsible ownership.

Lexi , a petite young girl, likes hiding under blankets. Once she knows you are sitting down and the room is peaceful, she carefully emerges and crawls into your lap for cuddling. Lexi is a beautiful tiger tabby, 1 year of age, good with other cats, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Andrea is happiest in your arms or lap, cuddling and hugging, sneaking doggie kisses on your cheeks.  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Queensland Heeler, 3 years young and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Andrea was found on the streets and repeated attempts to trace her microchip ID to a previous owner were not successful.  She is eager to join a responsible, loving home, so please come meet her today.

Pip , an 8-pound lovebug, enjoys cuddling and bonding with women and mature kids. If you sing in a high pitch, he joins you and howls his lyrics. Pip is a Toy & Terrier mix, 7 years of age, neutered boy, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Pip was at another shelter that asked for our help. In his previous home he was abused by a violent man. If a man shows anger to him, or smells of alcohol, Pip will reportedly cower and involuntarily urinate and defecate in terror. Pip is a charming boy who needs a very gentle and stable home.
