Gino , confident and calm, enjoys bonding with children, adults, and cats.  He is a large, handsome cream tabby, 5 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Gino needed help after his previous owners moved away and abandoned him outdoors.

Seamus is a sporty, agile baby boy who loves to play until he's so tired that he needs a nap.  He is a cream tabby kitten, 3 months of age, neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.  Seamus is great with other cats.  One of his favorite activities is chasing laser pointers.  He was rescued from the streets with no sign of responsible ownership. His brother, Mulligan , is also ready for adoption. Mulligan is also athletic and playful.  He enjoys stealing hair ties and playing soccer with them.

Manny , an affectionate and cute junior kitten, is happy to be in your arms.  He is a cream tabby, 10 months of age, good with other cats, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Manny was found abandoned outdoors with no sign of responsible ownership.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Mitchell is fond of hearing you speak to him. Tell him about your thoughts or read him a story, and he'll roll over on his back and stare at you with adoration, basking in the attention. Mitchell is an attractive young cream tabby shorthair, 3 years of age, good with other cats, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He was found abandoned in a vacated apartment, along with a mother cat and her babies. (The mother cat and babies were rescued too and will be ready for adoption in the weeks to come.)

As hard as it is to see the pain still in Milo's face, he is actually improving a bit more each day and no longer hiding his face. He is very docile and he is slowly but surely beginning to hope again. Milo , 10, a cream tabby, was at another shelter that asked for our help. He had been confiscated from his previous home for cruelty and he was terrified of violence and rage. Milo likes soft-spoken volunteers and staff to pet him and reassure him with tender words. He is starting to show interest in toys too. We look forward to the day when he knows in his heart that he is safe and secure. Please help find a hero for Milo . Belle , a darling junior kitten, enjoys chasing jingling toys, meeting nice people, and playing with other friendly cats.  She is a gorgeous cream tabby, 8 months of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Belle needed us due to her previous owner's health problems.  Please kitten-proof your home carefully for her safety.

Chloe's favorite things include playing soccer with paper balls (wadded up pieces of paper) and catnapping on your feet.  She is a gorgeous cream tabby with golden eyes, 3 years young and spayed, good with cats and mature kids, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA. Guy , a social and handsome cream tabby, enjoys chasing laser pointers and finding the coziest of spaces for his catnaps.  Tell him about your thoughts and feelings and he will "meow" back his answers to keep the conversation going and help you.  Guy is 7 years of age, a neutered boy, good with cats and dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He needed us when his previous owner passed away.

Vera had been left behind in an abandoned house for an unknown period of time without food or water.  A neighbor discovered she was inside and was able to gain access and rescue her.  Vera is elated now to be in the comfort of air-condition and eating regularly-scheduled meals and treats.  She is a beautiful cream tabby with a ringed tail and golden eyes, 1 year young, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Grandma is 17 years of age and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a graceful, humble cream tabby with gold eyes, spayed, and best suited for a calm home environment.  After so many years of loving companionship, someone failed Grandma and she is homeless due to no fault of her own.  We plead for your help in finding Grandma a hero so she can be placed in a loving home environment as soon as possible.  She is good with other cats and doing well on daily thyroid medication.  Our biggest concern with cats of this age is the potential for them to become deeply depressed at the shelter when losing their previous homes and stability in their twilight years.  Thank you in advance for sharing her picture and helping Grandma . 

Dr. Jamie is lovingly named after the veterinarian who saved her life.  At the time of rescue, this little angel had severe leg fractures (to her hind right leg) and she was very ill.  The fractures were consistent with her falling a very long drop, such as from a roof or tree.  Dr. Jamie's leg could not be saved, and it had to be amputated.  But she made a full recovery from the illness, and with loving care she is making an admirable adjustment to life on three legs. She is a cream tabby kitten, now 4-5 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Dr. Jamie loves gentle petting and holding, and purrs loudly in your arms.  Please ask for her by name when you visit Nevada SPCA.

Sebastian is blessed with a great gift -- he has a calming effect on people and other cats.  Lovable and mellow, he is a big bundle of sunlight, and he is ready to join a loving, forever home.  Sebastian is a cream tabby with gorgeous eyes, neutered, about 4 years of age.  Please ask for him by name at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Sebastian from another shelter.

Mortie mesmerizes us with his human-like face and Teddy Bear lovability.  He is a noble, large Cream Tabby, neutered boy, young at heart at 11 years of age.  He is yet another innocent victim of the long-continuing home foreclosure crisis. Update: Dusty was adopted on January 7th! Cute and inquisitive, we find Dusty to be an especially endearing and regal youngster, still a kitten at about 10 months of age. Dusty is a cream tabby, medium-hair, neutered boy, with bright, wandering eyes revealing his curiosity about the world. He is playful, unsure about other cats for the most part, but generally mild-mannered and respectful to other felines. We rescued Dusty from a government-funded shelter. Dusty is one of 200 rescued, spayed/neutered cats and kittens for adoption in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.

Update: Studebaker was adopted on July 17th! This handsome boy was found roaming the streets of Long Beach, California, trying to survive somehow on his own. Fortunately, his microchip ID traced back to us here at Nevada SPCA and we sent someone to retrieve him back to safety. Studebaker is a classically handsome, very good-natured cream tabby. He is neutered and about 5 years of age. He gives kisses and even likes to "make biscuits" (happy feet) on your neck when he hugs you. Studebaker is compatible with cats and small dogs. Please be sure to keep him safely indoors so that he never faces the many dangers of the streets again.
