Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

We are trying to convince Geraldine that her life is going to get much better. Soft voices and chin scratches help bring her out of her shell. Geraldine , devastated by her surrender (previous owners said they did not have enough time for her), rolls up like a hedgehog and refuses eye contact at first.    She is a lovely, gentle Snowshoe, 1 year of age and spayed, find with other cats, and ready for a hero to adopt her at Nevada SPCA .    Please plan for plenty of quality time and cuddling with Geraldine daily to help her feel secure and bloom.

Julio was bashful for his pictures this morning, but he is quite content in calm arms and cuddling up against people he knows and trusts.  Gentle chin scratches are one of his favorite things and you can usually find him following you around the room.  Julio is a blue-eyed white feline, 9 years of age and neutered, good with other cats, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA . He needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.

Flower , a junior kitten 10 months of age, wasn't thrilled about getting her picture taken this morning, but you can still see she is a lovely girl.    She is a medium-hair tortoiseshell feline, good with other cats, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . At the time of rescue Flower was found seeking safety and food in a family's garage. Flower relishes chin scratches, catnip-laced toys, and scratching posts.

Freddy , 16, relishes attention and purrs heartily when you gently scratch his chin.  He is a Himalayan & Persian mix, neutered boy, fine with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Freddy from another shelter and his background is otherwise unknown.  Please share his picture to help find him a hero.

Ruth , 20, finds comfort with tender touch, gentle chin scratches, and cozy napping spots. Until recently, Ruth's whole life was with her previous owner who became too ill to care for her. Ruth was taken by family members, but she was terrified of their dogs and in distress. Will you please help us find Ruth a peaceful and compassionate home for her twilight years?    She is spayed, previously declawed (all paws), and ready for adoption in the Senior Sweetheart Suite playroom at Nevada SPCA.

Victor's favorite things include meeting new people and getting chin scratches.  He is a handsome, gregarious young boy ready for adoption in the Treehouse Playroom at Nevada SPCA.  He enjoys chatting with people and he gets along especially well with female cats.  Victor is 2 years of age and neutered. He needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Simba relishes leisurely moments with you that include gentle chin scratching and catnaps on the coziest pillows.  He is a handsome jewel-eyed orange tabby & white shorthair, neutered boy, 4 years of age, good with other cats, and he's ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.
