Harlequin

Image
Harlequin , a shining bundle of love, likes smiling at people, going for car rides, and sleeping next to monkey-shaped toys.  He needed us when his previous owner passed away.  Harlequin is a charming Pug, almost 8 years of age, a neutered boy, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other sweet dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Cane

Image
Cane , still acting puppy-like at 4 years of age, reveals his charm instantly to everyone who is kind to him.  He is a super cute, 110-pound Rottweiler, housetrained, neutered, good with mature kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Cane may be compatible with some dogs (unconfirmed).  He needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.  Please visit and ask for Cane by name.

Henry

Image
Henry , well-behaved and charming, asks for your consideration so he can become a valued member of a loving, forever home.  He is good with cats, dogs, and kids, plus housetrained too.  Henry is a medium-size, cream & white Heinz 57 with Queensland Heeler, 5 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He needed us due to his previous owner's health problems.

Brody

Image
Brody loves sharing his charm and good cheer with everyone he meets.  He is an exceptionally attractive boy, a blend of Siberian Husky & German Shepherd, 4 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Brody was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his fear of people touching his mouth.

Thunderbird

Image
Thunderbird loves when you notice his charm! The more you react with smiles and good cheer, the more he keeps showing off and revealing his personality. He is a Rottweiler, 1 year of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Thunderbird was at another shelter that asked for our help. A previous owner apparently taunted him with toys (cruel deprivation) and violently disciplined him. Thunderbird worries that his toys and food will get stolen from him and that every correction is a potential traumatic experience. We believe in the goodness of this young boy. A very experienced, adult-only home can help him perceive humans in a different way with a steady lifestyle routine and kind home environment.

Buddy asks for a hospice foster home.

Every quality day is precious. Buddy , 10, is a charming Rottweiler asking for a hospice foster home.    If you can help him, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for DJ. Buddy is friendly with kids and housetrained. He is picky about dogs, but becomes very devoted to the dogs he adores and showers them with licking and grooming to keep their faces clean. We rescued Buddy from another shelter that asked for our help. Veterinarians determined he has inoperable cancer in his chest. He is not suffering. Buddy can love and share his joy -- which may be for weeks, or months, perhaps longer -- while his quality of life remains. Please help find a hero for Buddy .

David

Image
David , 9, needs someone to love dearly.  He is a Shih-Tzu mix, neutered boy, good with other dogs, crate-trained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  David was surrendered to us because his previous owner said he does not like young children.  With his adult caretakers here at the shelter, David is charming and friendly.

Stan

Image
Stan , so grateful to be healed and safe, runs to new people to welcome them into his playroom, then leans his head up to make it easier for them to pet him. Stan is a charming lynx point Siamese, 3 years young, fine with other cats, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue he had open wounds on his face, neck, and front right leg. The veterinarian who treated him said the injuries were consistent with similar severe attacks from dogs. Stan had been on the streets, trying to fend for himself. The great comfort and safety of being exclusively indoors is the life that Stan needs from now on. Please share his picture and help find him a wonderful home.

I really want you to consider me.

Kino loves to show off his immense charm and colorful personality!  He is an earnest, optimistic boy eager to join a loving forever home.  Kino is a Chihuahua with a cute, "little wolf"-like appearance, about 8 years of age and neutered, great with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing his bright spirit in these new portraits.
