Carley

Image
Carley fancies playing hide & seek with you. She will dart around the kitten tunnel toys and behind cat trees, quite sure you won't find her. Once you do, she'll chase you and find you in your hiding spot. Carley is an adorable tabby medium-hair kitten ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is good with other cats, 4 months of age, and spayed.    Carley had been found homeless on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Esther

Image
Esther , a spunky little acrobat, refused to stop playing today to take a portrait. We took 65 pictures and she is leaping and swatting toys in all of them. Everything fascinates her, except for getting her picture taken.    Esther is a lynx point Siamese kitten, 4 months of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Please consider some kitten tunnels and a cat tree for endless hours of amusement. Esther was found roaming the streets without her mother. She apparently was not socialized with other cats, so please be very patient with her adjustment time if you have a resident cat at home already.

Chester

Image
Chester adores gentle children and likes being around them. He is a majestic, friendly Norwegian Forest Cat mix, 8 years of age and neutered, compatible with cats and dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Chester needed us when his previous owner passed away. He enjoys lounging at elevated points in the room, whether the back of a couch or at the very top of a cat tree. Please consider a cat tree (indoor feline furniture) for him for endless hours of pleasure.

Dante

Image
Dante hopes you will position your cat tree near a window so he can perch and watch birds, neighbors, and yard activities from the safety and comfort of the indoors. Dante is a large, handsome, steel-grey shorthair with jewel eyes, 3 years young and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He is compatible with cats, dogs, and kids.    Catnip-laced toy mice fascinate him to no end.    Dante needed us because of his previous owner's declining health.

Milky Way

Image
Milky Way watching visitors enter the Treehouse Playroom at Nevada SPCA, hoping that they will give her consideration and accept her devotion.  She purrs with all of her heart when you brush her and likes catnapping at the highest points in the room (so a cat tree would give her endless pleasure in your home).  Milky Way is a medium-hair feline with a beautiful spirit, 4 years of age and spayed, and fine with other cats.

Marco

Image
Marco likes to sit regally and peacefully on the cat trees in the center of the Cat Condos at Nevada SPCA and greet visitors with his gentle presence. He loves the cat trees, but will climb down if you throw his toys for him to catch or if you want to play a short game of "pattycake or boxing" (pawing at your knuckles). Marco is a cream & white tabby, 5 years of age and neutered, and he's awaiting adoption. Special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing his spirit in these portraits.

Belinda, an athletic kitten debuting for adoption today.

Image
Belinda is a spunky, darling baby girl who has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home.  At the time of rescue she was just weeks old and motherless, in desperate need of a surrogate mom to give her nurturing care.  Belinda is now 3 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  The world is one giant jungle gym to Belinda and she is a terrific jumper, but please be sure to keep her always safely indoors for her safety and protection.  She would love a big cat tree!

Please get a tall cat tree for me.

Veronica needed us when her previous owners moved out of the country. She is a petite, sleek shorthair, young spayed girl just under a year of age. Veronica is bouncy and athletic and enjoys cat naps on high perches. Besides adoring people, she is friendly with other cats and respectful of their space. Please ask for Veronica by name when you visit Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.

I need daily playtime and scratching posts and activities that allow me to explore indoors.

Update: Elanore was adopted on December 19th! Elanore is an outgoing, adventurous kitten with a very playful nature. She is a Norwegian Forest Cat, spayed female, about 8 months young. Elanore lost her home because of "scratching". But, of course, this is a natural and necessary behavior for cats, especially young ones like her. Cat trees and a wide array of scratching posts to choose from ensure that there are affordable options for every home. Our staff can give you tips on ideal places to locate the trees and posts too. Elanore is one of 200 rescued and adoptable cats in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condos playrooms. All are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for leukemia. We strongly believe that cats must be strictly indoors only for their safety and protection, and so that they can be proper, loved members of the family. Elanore is ready for adoption today. Please ask for this spunky little beauty by name.
