Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Suzannah , a dainty young girl, asks for a kind home where she will be valued as a member of the family.  She is a Lionhead bunny, 1 year of age, now spayed and ready for adoption in the Lovebug Room at Nevada SPCA .  Suzannah was an "unwanted" "Easter bunny". Lady Grey , polite and friendly, asks for a stable home where she will be loved and safe forever. She is a lovely bunny (American mix rabbit), 3 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption in the Lovebug Room at Nevada SPCA . Lady Grey was surrendered due to no fault of her own (her previous owners' hardship).

Amy is blooming beautifully and on her way to reaching her full loving potential. Every day she builds a bit more confidence and self-esteem. Amy is an Agouti bunny, 2 years young and spayed, and ready for adoption in the Lovebug Room at Nevada SPCA . We rescued her from another shelter and suspect that she survived a loveless, neglectful home. At the time of rescue she was so timid she would freeze in place and refuse to move. Now, Amy explores her habitat with ease and hops up to new people she perceives as gentle to meet them.

Delphi is a charming and inquisitive girl eager to become a valued member of a responsible, loving forever home.    She is a lovely Agouti bunny, 2 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA . Delphi was captured outdoors after being abandoned in a neighborhood. A domesticated rabbit, she had no chance of surviving on her own, as she completely depends on people for food, safety, and well-being.

Flower & Gertie were found abandoned in a large Vegas park known for a dense population of coyotes. (As you know, domesticated rabbits completely depend on humans for survival and succumb to starvation, predators, disease, vehicles, and weather when abandoned in parks and golf courses.) These gentle young girls are now spayed and ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA .    They are soul-mates, bonded for life, and 2 years of age. Flower is a Chinchilla mix bunny and Gertie is an English Spot.    Please consider sharing their picture to help them find a loving, indoor-only, safe, forever home.

Amulet , a dear little treasure, warms to people who speak softly and reassuringly to her.  She is a beautiful spirit, a gentle Agouti bunny, 2 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in the Lovebugs Room.  Amulet was discovered left behind in a vacated apartment.

Zsa Zsa is a beautiful soul and she would love to join a forever home where she is always treasured.  She is a Lop bunny, 4 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Zsa Zsa is quite strong-willed and if we are late with her daily 3pm salads of fresh leafy greens she will begin thumping her hind feet in protest.  She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Ives is a young sweetheart who likes building ever-stronger relationships with people.  He is a cute Cinnamon mix bunny, 1 year of age, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Ives was found abandoned and in peril. (Most domesticated rabbits completely depend on humans for survival and will perish from starvation and other dangers when abandoned.)

Sage , a bashful young girl with a gentle spirit, asks for a quiet and calm home environment where she can build confidence and peace-of-mind.  She is a beautiful Jersey Wooly bunny, 1 year of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Sage will need regular brushing (and we can give you grooming tips when you come to meet her in the Lovebugs Room).  She was found abandoned without any sign of responsible ownership.

Sylvester loves his play-time every day, running and jumping and exploring new rooms. (You can use baby gates to keep him away from electrical cords and other potential dangers.)  He is a friendly, energetic youngster, a Dutch & American mix bunny, 1 year of age, now neutered and ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA .  Sylvester was found abandoned.

Mason is a calm, friendly youngster who builds confidence well when he feels comfortable.  He is a snow-white Lionhead mix bunny, 1 year of age, now neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in the Lovebugs Room.  Mason was found abandoned on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Leif , 7, the gentlest boy, deeply appreciates all kindness. He is mostly deaf and blind in one eye. Leif memorizes his surroundings and habitat easily, adjusting well and finding small joys throughout the day, including his "salad time" each afternoon with plentiful fresh greens. He is a Himalayan & Lionhead mix bunny, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Leif was found abandoned behind an industrial building in horrendous condition and with eye infections. He has made a beautiful recovery and awaits a compassionate hero to love in a forever home.

Parker is adjusting well to life on three legs.    He is full of spirit and so grateful for the safety and comfort of the indoors, not to mention his daily big bowls of salad greens. Parker was found injured under a car in a grocery store parking lot. His hind leg could not be saved.    He is 2 years of age, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Clement playfully leaps and frolics -- "rabbit binkies", aka "happy bunny dances" -- when you let him explore a room in the house (using baby gates to keep him away from electrical cords and other hazards). Clement is a super cute Dutch mix bunny, 1 year young, neutered boy, ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA.    He was "unwanted" by his previous owner.

Lawrence enjoys rearranging his bunny condo, deciding on new locations for his litter box, toys, chew mats, and Timothy hay every day as he deems best. He also loves gentle head scratches and hearty bowls of daily salad greens. Lawrence is an Agouti & American mix rabbit, 2 years young and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. We rescued him from another shelter.

Charm & Velma, October, 2015 35 abandoned rabbits, as discovered June 15, 2015 Before & After -- It's now been 4 months since the rescue of the 35 bunnies abandoned on a sidewalk in deplorable condition.  (All were unsocialized to a degree it was suspected they were being raised for food for humans or other animals or intended for some other harm.) Their progress has been phenomenal!  Both physically (eating Timothy hay and fresh daily salads) and emotionally (learning to trust humans and accept care), they are thriving.  As each improves, they are being spayed/neutered and adopted.  We have carefully bonded most into pairs, for meaningful lifelong companionship.  Charm & Velma , pictured here, courtesy of Pet'ographique (www.petographique.com) have been socialized in a wonderful foster home.  Both girls are approximately 1 year of age, spayed, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).  Charm is a Hot Tot and ...

Elektra is a charming, exuberant Dutch mix bunny awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is 2 years young and spayed, and very enthusiastic for her daily veggies & salad bowl of greens!  Elektra needed us when her previous owner passed away.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these lovely portraits to help Elektra find a responsible, indoor-only, loving forever home.

At the time of rescue Quentin was inexplicably living in a tiny bird cage and was "unwanted".  So he is beside himself with the spaciousness of his bunny condo and overjoyed for his daily salad greens & veggies.  In a home environment you can give him even more space and freedom, indoors only, using baby gates to keep him from electrical cords and stairways and other dangers.  Quentin is a friendly, enthusiastic Marten mix bunny, 1 year of age, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for spotlighting Quentin in these handsome portraits to help him find a responsible, loving forever home.
